I get why the Jets would want him. I get why the Raiders would trade him within the conference but outside the division. I have no Earthly idea why Adams would want to go to the Jets. To hang out with his buddy and lose? He’s stupid if he thinks he’s putting that team over the top.

Both were great teams. I think the Yanks win in 4….losing the Ragans game. The AL is a relatively easy path for them. Nothing is ever a given but damn the NL has some tough teams. Way better and more balanced than the AL. I like the Tigers and Royals but they are both young squads.

Royals have added George Brett to their roster and the Yanks are deciding between Nettles and Chambliss.

Weird if you ask me because both teams are 2-2 and it could be argued that the Raiders have looked better. The Jets wins are against very bad teams.

Not so sure. Some dude got suspended for a year this Spring for placing 10 bets totaling $90. As for Rose RIP. He was definitely a complicated character and personally I’m not sure what the most appropriate consequences should have been. On the field though, that dude personified the phrase “never give up”. He busted his butt all day every day.

I sort of do that but not exactly. Wherever I park, I park. If it is close to the return shed or if it is far away, I shove the cart at the shed. I’ve gotten really good at it, even from long distances. Everybody wins. Well unless some jerk isn’t paying attention. One time I shot the cart from probably 75 yards. I had to send it between two parked cars and account for the slope of the lot and the one misaligned wheel that pulled the cart to the left. My shot was perfect. I mean perfect. The cart was definitely going in the tent and might have even folded into another cart that was already there. It would have probably been my third best all time shot…….until……some bozo who wasn’t watching it as it went between the two parked cars just kept driving down the row. The cart emerged, he hit it and it went tumbling along in the parking lot at a pretty high speed. It got airborne for a second or two. It almost hit a mom and a baby in a carriage. The guy got out of the car and looked around confused. The mom almost had a heart attack and was screaming and made a big scene. Drama queen. Suggestion: If you’re going to have kids you’ll want to protect them so pay attention. The cart was wrecked but the guy seemed more worried about the dent in his precious car. Some people are just jerks. I don’t like going to that store anymore because people are jerks like that. Sometimes I go anyway because the wobbly carts are challenging.

Or perhaps you are a little thin skinned? You did, after all, bash “Bible thumpers” for no reason whatsoever. No one thumped a Bible in this thread. Any other thoughts people shouldn’t be allowed to have or things they shouldn’t be able to do? If someone put ketchup on a hot dog would it ruin your day?
