Refs making up for lost time with the flags.

Those Jaguars helmets are a disaster.

wait...what just happened? the Bills scored???
-
Predictable first set for the Bills.
Time for the D to show them what's up.
Or maybe not....
-
Not sure I share the confidence here in the Bills winning. This is the team that constantly finds ways to lose, remember.
-
So...that Russell Wilson guy...
Blood pressure explodes every time I think about that.
-
I don't need to look at the other teams' depth charts to know that EJ/Tuel/Palmer was the weakest bunch in the league. Orton gives us much needed experience and respectability. I still don't think we make the playoffs regardless of who starts but if EJ gets injured, Orton will keep us in games and give us a chance, which is more than you can say for Tuel and Palmer. I'm STILL wondering what they were thinking by signing Palmer.

It's easy to point to the few nuggets like Alonso, but it's obvious that the drafting has had many huge blunders throughout the years. Too many high pick busts, and Graham over Russell Wilson was brutal (as was the continuing confidence shown in Fitz that delayed a replacement plan for too long). You have to wonder how it's possible for professional football executives to be this bad when judging talent.

The problem is lack of real competition. He has the job no matter what
Exactly, and what's Marrone gonna do, start ripping EJ publicly when there (was) only Tuel and Palmer behind him?
They made a move and drafted a 1st round QB. Whether or not he's going to be serviceable, they are gonna give him the mandatory three seasons to find out. Unless he completely tanks this year, that is. I don't think he will. I think he'll show flashes of good play but still be something of a question mark by season's end.
-
Good move for once, but why not do this instead of the waste of time that was bringing in Palmer?
No absolute need to bring in Ponder or Pryor to replace Tuel but it would be nice.

Tannehill throws an absolutely horrendous deep ball.
but at least he throws one....
-
If only there were a long stretch of time in which no football is played, and you could sign AGENTS who are FREE to sign with other teams, in order for you to secure a decent backup. An OFFseason. Yes, that's it! That sure would come in handy!

Something is wrong with this organization if they cut a QB thatt they throw into game with 2 days training...
I am shocked that the guy with 15 career attempts didn't turn out to be any good.
-
9/22 and three picks = utter brutality.
-
Whaley is pretty good at this kind of stuff, as evidenced by the Hughes for Sheppard trade, and even Thad for Chris White (which worked for a year at least). He may still be able to pry a back-up that can contribute for a backup that cannot.
Just admit defeat and trade him for a lower pick than he was taken with. Utter waste of time. Thanks, Buddy.

i think thats a pretty standard assessment..... we have a good team that hinges on QB and coaching.
so in other words, we don't have a good team.
-
Not a great QB, but did great work with the young qb prospects at elite 11 this year. Worked with Blake Bortles a ton. Basically a player coach, who is a better coach than player. Makes sense to bring him in to help mentor EJ. Neither Tuel or Thad can really help on that front.
Somehow I have to cast doubt on the coaching skills of a guy who has only made 15 attempts in the NFL...
-
You are making my point. Most of his bad throws happen when his protection breaks down.
I got the feeling he isn't even waiting for plays to develop/break down, according to some posters who watched the game.
What I do think is this QB and offense are not good enough to make this the playoff team that so many here are deluding themselves into believing.
-
The Watkins trade as much as I like the kid is not going to be good since a top 10 pick is likely next draft.
This team is not ready on offense
I felt this at the time of the draft. Giving up so much for a WR with a second year QB who hadn't played enough was stupid then and it looks stupid now.

stellar 4.1 yd average on passes.
-
After the training camp fights, I can see the team going the other way and self-destructing to 4 wins or less.
-
I like how the Steelers are tied for 7th when they ranked 22nd in people who - you know - ACTUALLY SHOW UP TO GAMES.
For a start, you got to throw out merchandise. Tons of people out there buy Cowboys' gear, doesn't mean they're a real fan of the team. And deciding just what qualifies a "real" fan is debatable anyway.
Also, how is that a "full list" when they only show the top ten? Where's the rest?
