Some nudnick out here will find some excuse as to why he sucks, but its so beyond that. This guy is clutch. Its not the offensive coordinator, its not the teams they play, its Brady.
12 for 12 in the 4th quarter for 168 yards and yet another come from behind victory against a stout Pittsburgh D. I watched the game and could not get over some of the throws he made under pressure.
Don't get me wrong, it pains me to admit this, but how people can still say he's an average quarterback is beyond me.
He's just a SYSTEM QB. Brady should get no credit for the Pats success. Their kicker was the SB MVP, their OC was a genius, their WR's are super quick and run great routes, the OL gives him 20 seconds to throw the ball, etc...

I think Losman is the future for this team but.....I think this is the year (although with Spikes out it may be a mute point) that we have a chance to make the playoffs. Next year we will be without Moulds, Clements and who knows who else.
I say give Holcumb a shot. Give him the reps in practice and lets see what he can do. If we wait till after the Saints game it may be too late from both a record and morale standpoint.
Throw Losman back in if Holcumb lays and egg.
Desperate times call for desparte measures.
It's not time to start the backup QB until people learn how to spell his name. Last night it was HolcombE, today it is HolcUmb.

It's a long season and we are only three games in, but after the last two disappointing performances, maybe it's time to look at the possibility that the players, coaches and front office staff are not as good as they look on paper. Maybe expectations for year 5 of the TD era were inflated by the fact that the Bills beat up on some of the NFL's lightweights during the 2nd half of the 2004 season.
Let's hope they can turn things around.

Actually the long attempted bombs to Moulds were heading towards the tunnel endzone. The plays in question, were when the Bills were heading towards the scoreboard endzone.

The Sabres have endured a melancholy week. General Manager Darcy Regier, Ruff and six players flew to Chicago on Friday to attend the funeral of former teammate Curtis Brown's 5-month-old daughter, who died unexpectedly.

There were multiple plays where either Evans or Moulds were on the bench in the first half(could have happened in the 2nd half but I wasn't paying close attention). If Moulds isn't worthy of being out there on ALL offensive sets except for short yardage, then ship him and his huge salary out of here and bring in someone else next year.
Also, one of the dumbest things I've seen the Bills do for two years running....After a change of possession with the Bills going on offense, they wait for the referee to start the play clock and then they run 4 guys into the huddle from the bench and 4 others go running off. Who the F*** do they think they are fooling with this "trickery"?
I'm starting to wonder how much of the Bills offensive woes(including the OL) should be attributed to Tom Clements?

I was at the game today and I stayed until the final gun. Only once in my 25 years on this earth have I left a sporting event early. Some panty waste of a guy I knew forced me and my friends to leave a Sabres game with seconds left on the clock because he had to call his girlfriend. We missed a great fight featuring Rob Ray. I haven't talked to that guy since. I believe it is completely foolish to spend $50 for a ticket and then leave before the game is over. Even if it's a blowout, you're bound to see some sort of entertaining thing happen. Maybe the Bills will come back, maybe some drunk guys will get in a fight, maybe somebody will run out on the field, maybe a girl will take her top off. Who knows what excitement might happen. If you are more concerned with beating traffic then I say stay home because you're wasting your money. Don't give me any BS about how you are a diehard fan even if you leave early. Diehards stay with their team no matter what happens.
Thank you!

soime fans left because they figured Atlanta would mismanage the time.
When Duckett gained the first down with just over two minutes to play the game was over, but Atlanta screwed up. Duckett steps out of bounds, the throw an incomplete pass, why are they throwing, the 2 minute warning and the last Bills time out. Had Duckett fallen down in bounds, they could have taken the knee.
Didn't the Bills fans learn from the "comeback" game that it ain't over until the fat lady sings.

It doesn't matter how ineffective the offense was, all it would have took was one play and a two point conversion, and all the so called fans would have been storming the gates begging to get back in.

Were you there? Once again....IT WAS A ONE SCORE GAME. WHERE WERE THE SO CALLED DIEHARD FANS IN A HURRY TO GO TO??
-
-
I'm at the game...Just a little under 2 minutes two go, the Bills have the ball, are down by only one score and there are about 20,000-30,000 fans left in the stadium. Next time somebody tries to start a thread about how the Buffalo fans are the greatest fans in the NFL, I will resurrect this thread.
Nice job 12th man.

I don't get this concept of hurrying to the pump before they raise prices. It's not like that tank of gas is going to last 6 months. A week from now you will be back to fill up again. So you saved a few bucks...whoop de do. People need to stop acting like there won't be any gas after tomorrow and therefore you have to line up to "top off" your tank.

49ers | Jennings Practices
Wed, 21 Sep 2005 15:46:01 -0700
Matt Maiocco, of the Santa Rosa Press Democrat, reports San Francisco 49ers OT Jonas Jennings (throat) practiced Wednesday, Sept. 21, and is not on the team's injury report for Week 3. Jennings had suffered a throat injury during Week 2.
What's next...sniffles?

Mularkey needs to realize that McGahee is more important to this team than he is. Mularkey is a middle of the road (at best) head coach, who is easily replaceable. Not a great motivator, not too brilliant with the things he says to the press, and simply a puppet for TD. Willis, on the other hand, is a premier back in this league, who, if not made happy (as sh------- as that sounds) can EASILY be seen holding out next year.
For once, the HC needs to shut up, start coaching as if he had half a brain, and appease his star player (ie, get him the frigging ball!)
...and his "star" player needs to realize he needs to be a north-south runner. He doesn't have the speed ala Barry Sanders to get away with dancing around in the backfield and then turning it into positive yardage.
PS I wouldn't call WM a premier back in the league, when he has yet to start a full seasons worth of games. A lot of potential...YES. A premier back...let's see how this year plays out.

This was probably mentioned earlier, but I will close with the "play-by-play" from DB's last two series...
1-10-WAS48 (2:28) J.Jones right tackle to WAS 42 for 6 yards (M.Washington).
2-4-WAS42 (2:03) (Shotgun) D.Bledsoe pass incomplete to J.Witten. Pass thrown right sideline at the Redskins 35; Stoutmire closest defender.
3-4-WAS42 (1:57) (Shotgun) D.Bledsoe pass incomplete to P.Crayton (S.Taylor).
4-4-WAS42 (1:53) (Shotgun) D.Bledsoe pass to T.Glenn to WAS 39 for 3 yards (W.Harris).
1-10-DAL21 (:36) (Shotgun) D.Bledsoe pass incomplete to T.Glenn. Pass thrown right sideline; Springs closest defender.
2-10-DAL21 (:32) (Shotgun) D.Bledsoe pass incomplete to K.Johnson (M.Bowen). Pass incomplete at the Dallas 43 left sideline.
3-10-DAL15 (:26) (Shotgun) D.Bledsoe Aborted. A.Johnson FUMBLES at DAL 15, recovered by DAL-D.Bledsoe at DAL 15. D.Bledsoe pass to T.Glenn to DAL 41 for 20 yards (S.Springs).
1-10-DAL41 (:26) D.Bledsoe spiked the ball to stop the clock.
2-10-DAL41 (:09) (Shotgun) D.Bledsoe pass incomplete to P.Crayton. Pass thrown left sideline; incomplete at the Washington 32.
3-10-DAL41 (:04) (Shotgun) D.Bledsoe pass to J.Jones to 50 for 9 yards. Lateral to T.Glenn to WAS 43 for 7 yards (O.Stoutmire).
What a clutch player. I'm sure that during these two fruitful series that the fans were just glowing while talking about the ONE beautiful pass that DB threw.
Strike three. BALL GAME OVER.

Hook him for Holcomb

I agree. Putting in Holcomb is no better an option than bringing back DB for another year of mediocrity. Leave JP in for the forseeable future.
