That's funny....I've posted twice since yesterday morning. Once about Lindell and the other about something Jeff Burris said on the radio. Maybe the person beating the dead horse is the one who started this thread.

He's 5 of 6 from beyond 40 this year. Give the guy a little credit for his play this year. He has been just short of perfect. If he makes 13-15 beyond 40 by the end of the year, do you comeback with..."Oh yeah, but none of them with the game on the line!"??

This is why I am very interested in the 2nd half of this years schedule. It is loaded with quality opponents and I want to see how the Bills fare.

To those in this thread who stated that the reason for not talking the safety is that Miami could have scored and then miss the extra point, which then would have sent the game into overtime... This season 273 out of 277 extra points have been made for a 98.55% rate. It's about as automatic as anything in football.

Being in Ohio and considering that 3 or 4 schools in the MAC are from Ohio, I have a question for you. How are the universities and the towns they are located in, more attractive(outside of recent won-loss records) to a football player than UB?

I already saw the article you linked. I'm not saying he won't be a good player, I'm just questioning how big of an impact he will have in his first game. If he goes off for 5 catches for 120 yards and a TD, great for the Bills and great for him.

I've said this before. DC's aren't losing sleep at night wondering if an under-sized WR picked in the 2nd round is going to show up in uniform for his FIRST NFL game. Just a hunch, but I think he may have to prove something on the field first.

I've seen it reported in the Buffalo News that the UB football program is "underfunded", but I've never seen the numbers to back this up. It would be nice if the writer who covers UB for the News did an article on this. Real simple....obtain the football budgets from each MAC school and let the public decide if UB is "underfunded" and by how much .
