  1. Every game against Miami in the '70's. If you didn't live through it, you just don't know how gut wrenching it was.
  2. Is this thread similiar to the "Brady is overrated, he sucks and their MVP is their kicker" threads.
  3. blah, blah, blah...PFT sucks, PFW blows, ESPN is a joke, yahoo.com doesn't know anything about football, etc... Who F***ing cares!! The minute any of these media outlets do a 180 and say something good about the Bills, a TSW ballwashing of epic proportions will take place proclaiming the author to be the only guy in the world who knows anything about football.
  4. ...and for the ballet.
  5. I'm not a soccer fan, but I've watched bits and pieces so far and will try to catch the semifinals and finals. That being said, I've got a beef with the use of the term "NIL". I don't care if soccer enthusiasts around the world want to use this term, but every sports broadcaster(radio & TV) feel that they MUST now use this terminology. Hey bozo's...it's okay to say France beat Brazil ONE TO NOTHING. The soccer nazis won't crucify you for saying it the way you would refer to any other 1-0 score.
  6. When I first opened this thread my answer would have been "never read long posts", but you reminded me of Johnny Coli....I always read his American Idol reviews.
  7. I grew up watching OJ(along with McAdoo and Perreault) and I agree with everything you said. OJ was head and shoulders above Thurman as a RB. Unfortunately, bad teams, stupid coaches and injury problems stopped him from being possibly the best of all time. Thurman was very good, but no comparison.
  8. This($200 per seat cost for removal) is a bunch of bull sh-- by some city hack. You can't convince me that after you figure in the expense of someone to remove all the seats, that the money you would bring by selling them would not exceed the removal cost.
  9. You still have to have something to attract conventioneers to Buffalo other than the convention center itself. If they can develop the inner harbor and get the casino up and running, turning the Aud into a convention center could be viable. If not, it would be hard to justify building a new convention center when you look at the volume of business that the current one attracts.
  10. Fishing and hunting are big in WNY and putting the ultimate outdoor store at the foot of one of the Great Lakes would appear to be a win win situation. The money would be spent better on something else development wise? Let's hear some ideas?
  11. Too late on the casino idea. The new casino is going down the street on the other side of the HSBC arena.
  12. I'm not sure when the first time I heard that Bass Pro may be moving into the Aud, but is seems like it has been going on for at least 3 years if not more. As another summer goes by with no formal decision by them to open a store in the Aud, I wonder...who is at fault? Is the Bass Pro owner trying to squeeze every last nickel out of the city, county & state or is it the developers/politicians/businessmen on the Buffalo side of the fence F***ing this up like everything else in WNY from a development perspective? The worst part about it...there is no Plan B for the Aud. There is so much concrete in there, that it would cost a fortune to demolish, so it will probably just continue to sit in a mothballed status for who knows how long if Bass Pro does not come to fruition.
  13. I disagree 100%. Schobel is above average and seems to have reached his peak, Kelsay did not show anything last year and Denney is strictly a journeyman. There is nothing beyond these three and if Schobel ever goes down, the DE position would be a disaster.
  14. I'll miss watching Erin Andrews ...and congrats to Oregon State!
  15. Way to be credible yahoo...Top 10 "theme" parks include an old boardwalk amusment park in Mrytle Beach, but no mention of any of the Disneyworld parks. http://promo.yahoo.com/summertravel/ TOP THEME PARKS 1. Universal Studios Florida 2. San Diego Zoo 3. SeaWorld Orlando 4. SeaWorld San Antonio 5. Dollywood 6. Disneyland 7. Circus Circus Adventuredome 8. Pavilion Amusement Park 9. Six Flags Fiesta Texas 10. SeaWorld San Diego
  16. Mesi fights some tomato can that they signed up as a last minute replacement and he can't put him away? He seriously needs to turn the page and move on with his life.
  17. One good thing about tuning in for the College World Series...Erin Andrews of ESPN doing sideline reporting dressed in beautiful summer fashions.
  18. Is most of the dead cap attributed to Moulds and Mike Williams?
  19. This guy... http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?showt...ndpost&p=698982
  20. Can you at least learn how to quote text from another post.
  21. Just my 2 cents...NFL Total Access is "must see TV" once training camp starts.
  22. Have you reached that POINT yet? This thread sucks!!!
  23. The Bills finished 5-11 last year and in the off-season got rid of a knucklehead HC, an aging WR & a good but over-the-hill SS. If Losman or Nall can step up to the plate, I don't see why the Bills can't finish 8-8. Sooner or later the Bills have to get lucky and find some good OL. Whitner will start and be a solid player. TKO will come back to form. Nate will be out to show he wants the BIG F/A dollars. GO BILLS!!!
  24. I'd choose Whoopi and wouldn't look back. I just have the feeling that Rosie would annoy the hell out of me before I'd ever get my pants off, to the point where I'd probably throw her off the balcony(or at least try to).
