  1. Assuming he plays 16 games, I believe these are fairly realistics goals... - 52-55% completion percentage - 2800 yards passing - 18 passing TD's - 500 yards rushing - 3 rushing td's - 18 interceptions - 40 times or less being sacked How I expect the coaches to use Losman... - Roll him out at least 4 or 5 times a game. One of his strengths is his mobility and with this offensive line, keeping him in the pocket on every passing play will be a disaster. Keep the defense guessing. - Allow him to run when there are no WR's open and there is room to run. Once again, take advantage of his mobility in order to keep the chains moving. - Figure out which throws he excels at and drop the ones he has problems with. Simplify the playbook and don't ask too much of him all at once. - Call at least one or two designed running plays every game. Naked bootlegs, QB draws, etc...
  2. I want a goddam cold drink and you better be talking to me in a pleasant soothing voice! When I finish my drink, I'm going out all night and I'm not telling you where I'm going!
  3. Don't get me wrong, Williams made a few really good plays last Saturday, but there have been plenty of head turners in previous seasons during training camp. Yes, he has passed Tim Anderson on the depth chart, but Anderson has done virtually nothing for two years now. Will he turn out to be our starting DT on opening day? He could or he may hit the brick wall for all I know a week from now. All I am saying is that the Kyle Williams hype seems to need a little balance. I hope he turns into something special, can play well right out of the gate and make us forget about Ron Edwards, Leif Larsen,etc... If not, don't crash and burn on the guy. After all, he was a 5th round draft pick.
  4. I changed my post to "some people". Mainly it is the guys who must be married to or date ONLY super models and look down on all other women.
  5. Maybe Nicole is slimming down to please some people here, who proclaim that anyone over 110 lbs. to be a fat slob that they wouldn't touch with a 10 foot pole.
  6. If they wanted Thomas, they could have had him 3 months ago before he signed with the Bills. As far as Gates having upside, before he was on ESPN's plays of the week(or whatever the F it is called), I didn't hear many people talking about his "upside".
  7. Did you watch the game last Saturday? Greer came up twice on passes thrown to a WR at the line of scrimmage and made solid tackles both times. I'm not saying he is ready to be a starter, but he's not camp fodder.
  8. He is predicting that the Bills may only win 5 games and you think they may only win 7. Where's the huge difference in optimism?
  9. What really sucks for the Vikings is that Nate Burleson was allowed to walk in free agency. I believe this was partially due to the fact that it looked like Robinson had it turned around.
  10. I heard in-n-out burger is nothing more than a rathole. I hope they never come to Cheektowaga!
  11. Below average? Based on what?
  12. Hey don't forget about Ryan Neill. He has the quality most sought after in all Buffalo Bill DE's... OVERVIEW The son of former New York Giants nose guard Bill Neill, Ryan was certainly a "chip off the old block" during his final two seasons at Rutgers. A classic overachiever, Neill is a high motor type that consistently created pressure in the opposing backfield, most of the time on just sheer effort.
  13. Considering that Tops sits in the same footprint as the mall once did, how was it supposed to go in prior to the Thruway Mall closing?
  14. The demolition started sometime early this summer and the first restaurants ar expected to be open in November.

  16. I was a big backer of Rivers coming out of college and was disappointed the Bills did not get a crack at him. Even though it was just preseason, his performance was encouraging. That being said, let's see how he does when the live bullets are flying come September.
  17. ...or maybe this is the end result of being located adjacent to the east side of Buffalo which last time I looked was not very desirable.
  18. This goes back to my originial post. Is he even practicing at center?
  19. After reading your post, this is the understatement of the year.
  20. It's just my opinion that I am posting on a message board. After all, isn't that what a message board is for? I don't think Joe is reading this board waiting for my posts, in order to help him decide what to do next.
  21. If that is the case, then I stand corrected. I'll reserve future judgement until I see how the fan support is, when the novelty of a new stadium wears off in a few years.
  22. I'll give him credit for one thing...He is about to begin his 12th year in the NFL, has been padding his bank account all those years and will have a nice NFL pension when he is done.
  23. You could be right, but seeing that the old movie theaters and other stores have been demolished and it has been under construction for a couple of months, I'd say it's a safe bet.... unlike Destiny USA! Is that project completely dead by the way?
  24. Okay coach...you have access to the Bills blocking schemes(and every other team in the NFL) and I don't. I'll try to remember that next time I want to make on comment on OL play.
