  1. Maybe the fans were just having an "off day" when the Bills were in town.
  2. Bruschi is close to the end of his career. He was not much of an impact player all year long. I'd be surprised if he is still starting come September.
  3. I was at the Bills game in Indy this past year and that place was a morgue. Walking out after the game, you would have thought the Colts lost the game. I saw several crowd shots yesterday that reminded me of the same thing. I like Peyton Manning, but I have a hard time cheering for a team with fans that don't seem to have a lot of passion when it comes to their team. Sort of like the Hurricanes winning the Stanley Cup last year.
  4. With eyes like that, he'd be a perfect match for the runaway bride. http://1918.com/images/runaway_bride_blames_lack_of_sex.jpg
  5. From the yahoo.com front page... http://d.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/p/fwd/200701...xU1rA45CvbzCg--
  6. ...Carey played a Boston cab driver in the 1970 Jack Lemmon comedy "The Out of Towners." He also appeared in scores of commercials, and took pride in being a supporting player and a character actor. Damn. Out of Towners(the original) is one of my favorite movies and I don't remember him in it. There was the cabbie who couldn't make change for the fare, but I don't remember that being Carey. Damn, it sucks getting old and not being able to remember things!
  7. Where have we heard this before? Tomlin had an excellent interview with the Steelers and, like Cowher in 1992, is an on-the-rise candidate despite being only 34 and having minimal experience as an NFL coordinator. Tomlin took over the Vikings' defense this season. He must have went to the Gregg Williams school of interviewing. :D
  8. Unchained Melody...instant classic! I thought the guys eyes were going to bug out of his head.
  9. I thought the same thing. You had to know your singing sucked if you brought your juggling gear with you. The psycho(near the end of the show) proclaiming that she had a degree in music and 10 years of training was also great comic relief. Not to be out done, the woman singing the cowardly lion song from the wizard of oz was a thing of beauty. The visuals of the judges(specifically Randy & Simon) are priceless.
  10. I'm ready. Must see TV!
  11. You are truly the polar opposite of Pyrite Gal. Have you ever made a post with more than 10 words in it? :worthy:
  12. With Bruschi and Vrabel at the tail end of their careers, look for the Pats to be looking for LB's on day 1 of the draft.
  13. That would be a great pic!
  14. You're preaching to the choir. I was just pointing out that it was 3 kids fathered over a VERY BRIEF period of 3 months not a 3 year period like the previous poster had indicated.
  15. That would be 3 kids born during a 4 month period(not 3 years) to 3 different moms.
  16. Solid response! It ruins all the opinions that are formulated in the amout of time it takes a hot pocket to cook. DING! Have to go!
  17. Your're right. Instead of disussing the merits of the teams that are ACTUALLY IN THE PLAYOFFS, let's stick our heads in the sand and write how the Pats suck, they get all the calls, they are lucky, blah, blah, blah. God forbid we have some football discussions without "Brady envy" coming into play. <_<
  18. Did you see the two San Diego catch & fumbles that were ruled incomplete passes. Yeah, you're right, NE gets all the calls.
  19. There is no way that I would choose Novotny and Mair over Pyatt and Grier. Not even close.
  20. I don't want to come across as a naysayer, but I have that same sick feeling in my stomach. It just doesn't seem like this team was built for the playoffs. You gave up a lot of size and grit when you let McKee, Dumont, Grier and even Pyatt walk out the door. I know that anything can happen come playoff time, so I guess I'll just keep my fingers crossed.
  21. Vanity plates suck.
  22. The internet is your friend... http://www.nfl.com/players/playerpage/235215
  23. Personally, I think Darien Lake is an overpriced joke and I has hoping that somehow it would be bought by the company that operates Cedar Point and other parks. Other than a couple of new waterslides, what has been upgraded in the last several years?
  24. Hopefully the proposed development of the inner harbor(adjacent to the arena) will eventually spur the opening of 2 or 3 restaurants/bars within a stones throw of the arena. We'll see.
