You're the guy who has to start a NEW thread every time a thought pops in your head and I'm the BOZO. Somebody disagrees with you and you get all bent out of shape? Maybe it's time for a new hobby.
You forgot...
Xavier Omon 200 yards rushing and 3 TD's
Chris Ellis 5 sacks
Blake Costanzo 50 tackles
McKelvin 4 interceptions(3 returned for TD's)
etc...
WTF do I care about NFL teams that are disappointments this year? All I know is that the Bills have sucked for the better part of 10 years now and a promising start to the season is about to be flushed down the toilet.
Anybody who is relying on the "weather" advantage in order to beat the Dolphins is looking in the wrong place for how to win the game.
Even if there is a snowstorm that day(or for that matter, any game at RWS), how much of an advantage is that for the Bills who practice in the field house when there is inclement weather. The bad weather advantage has always been a bit of a myth to me.
The Bills will stand pat and NEXT YEAR that pass rush will be "awesome" with Stroud next to a healthy Schobel. Kelsay with another year of experience. Denney older. McCargo trying more than 10% of the time, blah, blah, blah....
How is it that the Giants lose Strahan to retirement and Umenyiora to injury in the preseason and they are still dominate(2nd in the league in sacks)? Either our DL talent is SEVERELY overrated and/or our defensive coaches are sub-par.
Unless they show the endzone replay on every run, it is difficult to see if there is a hole. Keep in mind, there isn't going to be a hole the size of the grand canyon on the majority of plays. It doesn't take much space for the good rb's in the NFL to make there way thru.
Is the lack of a running game for the last year and a half with Lynch at the helm, the fault of the OL? Lynch's fault? A little of both?
I'd say the latter.
I'm 49 now and this current 10 year stretch of mediocrity has taken its toll on me. I still attend a couple of home games and 1 road game every year, but I don't find myself agonizing over defeats like I used to.
I taped the game as I had somewhere to be yesterday and after someone told me the score, I didn't bother watching 1 second of it when I got home.
I still cling to the hope that either the Bills or Sabres will a championship in my lifetime(preferably while I can still enjoy it )
New England is 15th in the NFL in rushing defense at 105 yards per game. That is closer to best(yardage wise) than it is to worst and certainly not what I would call struggling. Note...They gave up 47 yards on 21 carries last night.
Peters...3 more years and looking for a raise
Dockery...5 more years as one of the highest(and overpaid) guards in the league
Fowler...Makes me wish for Teague and Preston isn't any better
Butler...just signed to a 4 or 5 year extension
Walker...3 more years
Not exactly what I would call spending your money wisely!
I can't believe what I am seeing out there, but I am pretty sure the run blocking is worse than last year.
I'm a big WGR basher, but this is ridiculous. They have 8-10 hours of "local talk" daily M-F. There is plenty of time for both the Bills and Sabres to be discussed.
In the future, give them a call ahead of time and let them know when you will be listening so they can cater to your schedule.
