  1. I'm sick of the Bills trading up on day 1. Losman, McCargo & Poz. 2 busts and another who looks to be an average player. Stay where they are at or trade down.
  2. Exactly. No need to worry. They won't get anywhere near the cap.
  3. Don't you know that the referee grading is weighted heavily on weightlifting prowess?
  4. Just an extension of the cluster!@#$ of a season. The Bills should be embarrassed making these folks go all over town for a 100 bucks or so.
  5. Yeah, you're right about "glove wearing" QB's. Warner wears gloves on both hands when playing in a dome and he sucks big time, right?
  6. Once again, I am not Hargrove's biggest fan, but you are comparing stats for one player who is a starter and one who is a reserve. Did you ever hear of comparing apples to apples instead of apples to oranges?
  7. Surprised by how ineffective UB's offense was. Not surprised that UB's defense was a sieve. How often does a team win the turnover battle by a 5-1 margin and lose by 18 points? I know the MAC is not a conference of defensive powerhouses, but you have to be respectable. That being said, a great season that hopefully Gill can build on unlike what Witherspoon did after the bball team came within a couple of seconds of the MAC championship and then was not able to use this to his recruiting advantage.
  8. Gino & Joe's in the Main Place Mall(I like the upstairs location better than downstairs) has really good thin crust pizza. If you work downtown and don't know about Gino & Joe's, you need to venture out a little more on your lunch hour.
  9. Dude...Way to bring facts to the table.
  10. Looking at the players from this list, how many of the ones who had a 2+ mil cap hit earned their keep? There is your problem. Paying out very good contracts to mediocre players. Aaron Schobel(DE) $0 $8,729,795 $0 $0 $0 NO Derrick Dockery(OL) $0 $6,356,720 $0 $0 $0 NO Langston Walker(OL) $0 $6,006,720 $0 $0 $0 NO Marcus Stroud(DT) $0 $5,673,386 $0 $0 $0 YES Chris Kelsay(DE) $0 $5,000,000 $0 $0 $0 NO Jason Peters(OL) $0 $4,450,000 $0 $0 $0 NO Roscoe Parrish(WR) $0 $4,261,720 $0 $0 $0 NO Terrence McGee(CB) $0 $4,125,000 $0 $0 $0 YES Kawika Mitchell(LB) $0 $4,006,720 $0 $0 $0 NO Spencer Johnson(DE) $0 $3,506,720 $0 $0 $0 NO Melvin Fowler(OL) $0 $3,323,388 $0 $0 $0 NO Lee Evans(WR) $0 $3,130,344 $0 $0 $0 YES Ryan Denney(DE) $0 $3,106,720 $0 $0 $0 NO J.P. 11. Officer, I'm Ko Simpson, I lost my starting job this season and will be out of the NFL in another year or two.
  12. Not that I'm a fan of bringing el pothead back, but how much playing time did he get over the 57 career games you are using to come up with your number of 1 sack for every 13 games? I guarantee you he would be more productive at DE than the "next" great white hope, Chris Kelsay.
  13. Rookie of the Year voting should not take into account what a player MIGHT have done if he got more playing time.
  14. Good. Now remind her that we(TW customers) still don't have the NFL network...even though I'm sure it is no fault of TW.
  15. If Jones wants to be pissed off, he should direct his anger at Tannenbaum and Mangini who decided to kick Pennington to the curb and bring in Favre. PS I think Favre should have stayed retired, but it is pretty classless of Jones to rip they guy while he is still your teammate...at least for now.
  16. http://www.profootballtalk.com/2008/12/31/...r-voting-bogus/ He is living in a dream world if he really believes that he should be the NFL Rookie of the Year instead of Ryan. [edited]A case could be made that he wasn't even the best rookie RB....see Steve Slaton.
  17. It all depends when season ticket renewals are due. All it takes is one big off-season move(FA, trade or draft) and everyone will once again get the fever. Perfect example...Bledsoe trade.
  18. Age - 49 Outlook - Still wishing for a Sabres or Bills championship in my lifetime, but caring less as the years go by.
  19. And this one... "Go Bills and take the Sabres with you!"
  20. I am looking fo the site that does compensatory pick predictions(how many picks each team gets and what rounds they will be in). I know it has been posted here before, but I can't find it. Thanks!
  21. Fewell will continue to be exposed as a fraud when the quality of opponents gets better next season, Turk will be out coached by opposing DC's and Jauron will continue his tradition of blandness and bad clock management. Make all the trades and FA moves you want...5-11 next year, 6-10 if they get lucky.
  22. Another solid move from the Donahoe era. Our director of pro personnel at the time(and still now) must not have thought highly of him.
