I'm not enthused about the possibility of the Bills drafting Green, but are you really worried that a player with Green's talent would be taking playing time away form Parrish or Nelson?

The only all-star game among the 4 major sports that even comes close to resembling the game played during the regular season is baseball. The other 3 are completely unwatchable. The only way the games will ever go away is if the networks band together and refuse to televise that crap and/or sponsors refuse to buy advertising during the games.

My point is, you have no idea what kind of player Cam Newton will be in his first four years.

So Josh Freeman who came out of nowhere can become above average QB in his 2nd year, but Fitz is 10x the player Cam Newton will be even after 3-4 years.

I love all the "trust in Buddy and Chan" crap posted here on a daily basis, but if the Bills select a QB at #3 overall, the pick would be one of the all-time worst. If Cooter and Co. grade Gabbert and/or Newton high enough to warrant the #3 overall pick, then who am I to argue. After all, the first year was such a success, how can they have anything but my 100% backing.

...and If Jauron was still here and Modrak was the one who got canned last year, Ralph would be putting all the blame on Modrak. Nothing but more spin on an utterly forgettable decade of Buffalo Bills football.

There is no downside to waiting the entire time allotment before making early round picks. Even if they just sit there and see if the phone rings. What if someone calls with a "blow your mind" offer for the pick? It's not like they had the #1 overall and were convinced that Bradford is the guy they want to build the franchise around.

Jeff George is also still convinced he has what it takes to be in the NFL. Herschel is dreaming. There is 0% chance of him being on a 53 man roster come September.

So while other teams can turn their fortunes around in one year, the Bills spend the same year evaluating players and dropping to 4-12. Sounds like a solid plan to me. In Cooter we trust!

Call me shocked. 50 years of RW cheaping out when it comes to coaches and FO staff have left me pessimistic, but I will give credit in this case.

With all the game tape available on players at all levels(NFL, college, CFL, etc...) if it took Cooter a year to figure out who sucks and who doesn't, the Bills are in bigger trouble than I originally thought.

What if his first name was "Peyton"? Would you have a problem with a QB with a first name like that?

How do you know that Newton would have to sit for "several" years? Would you have said the same thing about Josh Freeman prior to the 2009 draft? Look where he is two years into his NFL career?

I definitely miss Simon, but that is somewhat offset by Kara and Ellen being kicked to the curb in favor of Tyler and JLo. Ellen was absolutely useless and Kara came across as a know-it-all B word who thought she could become the Simon's equal on the show. We'll see how things play out when they get to Hollywood.

If you can find a place that consistently makes a GREAT pizza(which it should be when I am spending $12+ for a large), than I am more than willing to support the mom and pop restaurants. Unfortunately, more often than not, the pizza is underwhelming in terms of not being cooked correctly, skimpy ingredients, crappy service, etc... Therefore, on many occasions, my "not so picky" taste buds are more than happy with a $5 pizza from Little Caesars. Flame away!

Yeah...this makes this. Just cut half of your potential trading partners in half. Do you really believe it matters?
