  1. I'll take anyone who had success playing football at D-I or D-II level versus a guy who all anyone can talk about is his workout, because he hasn't had any football success! Somebody just show me a draft profile where this guy was a MONSTER and dominated at the NAIA level(Is that above or below JUCO? ).
  2. The page you linked includes 6 posts by you. Are you including yourself in the "bitching just to B word" category?
  3. Why would anyone NOT vote for "all of the above"? You would rather NOT have some of the best undrafted players in training camp?
  4. Yeah who cares. 7th rounders never make teams. Just piss them away.
  5. Letting Florence go continues the pattern of letting good CB's go and then having to use high draft picks to replace them... Winfield Clements Greer Florence? I am probably missing one or two others from the last decade of futility.
  6. That goes against all the Brady haters here who will tell you that he is nothing more than a "system QB". There was even someone here a few years back who swore that the majority of the Pats success was due to Vinatieri and NOT Brady.
  7. 4 pages of debate on walterfootball.com? Really? Who is Walter and why does anyone care what grade he gave the Bills draft?
  8. I fully understand it is your opinion. All the players drafted were VERY GOOD in college. That doesn't mean anything in terms of how they transition to the NFL. Dareus is a shoe-in to be a starter. The rest are yet to be determined.
  9. Exactly. So what if some talking head likes the Pat's draft. The most hated of all Patriots, Teddy Bruschi, praised the Bills selection of Sheppard.
  10. If you have a good front office, you can turn a bad team into a good team easily within a couple of years. The exception is when said front office has sucked at drafting for the better part of a decade and is even worse when it comes to FA signings.
  11. Without even going through a training camp or some preseason games, how would you even begin to speculate as to how many starters they are going to end up with?
  12. McShay couldn't have been more glowing in his praise of Buffalo after Day 2 of the draft and Pat Kirwan also heaped a lot of praise on the Bills. What more do you want?
  13. To put this in perspective, here is what the Giants gave up to move up 3 spots in 2004(even though the Cahrgers drafted Manning 1st, the Giants drafted Rivers 4th and then they made the trade). San Diego gave up the 1st overall pick Giants gave up the 4th overall pick in 2004, a 3rd round pick in 2004, a 1st round pick(#12 overall) in 2005 and a 5th round pick in 2005. Once again, this was to move up 3 slots. Some of the proposals earlier in this thread aren't even close, in terms of what if would take to move up to #1 overall from the 8-15 slots.
  14. Which give credence to how bizarre this pick was.
  15. Pro Football Weekly draft analyst Nolan Nawrocki: One of the most surprising choices of the weekend, Jasper is a behemoth nose tackle with three schools on his résumé, the latest being a stop in the NAIA where he wasn't noticeable except for his size. Conditioning and stamina are nowhere near NFL-ready.
  16. I have the same questions about Williams at DE. Too many people think that Williams can be moved to DE and play at the same level. Maybe he can, maybe he can't. If not, what is Plan B at the 3-4 DE position opposite Dareus?
  17. How does our D look now? If you just want to look at the positions drafted, they look a lot better. If it turns out that none of these guys can contribute next year, they will look a lot like last year. That being said, it would be shocking if Dareus doesn't start all 16 games and is a dramatic improvement over Stroud, Edwards, etc...
  18. I wish they were blowing smoke. I'd love to see them move Wood to OC and draft OG Boling. Boling-Wood-Levitre for the next decade
  19. Who is Campbell and there is no "c" in Sheppard.
  20. McShay on right now pimping Josh Thomas of UB as his #4 best player on the board.
  21. His height is not ideal, but not something that can't be overcome(see London Fletcher). If he can put on 10-15 pounds of muscle in his first two years, is he still too small(6'1" 240-245)? PS The leading tackler among LB's in the NFL last year was 6'1" 245"...Jerrod Mayo
  22. I agree. There was some serious overreaction here when the Bills selected Williams.
  23. I don't know about the DE/NT players, but I like a LOT of the rest of the players in this list.
  24. Considering they have the alumni doing the picks, I don't think the any of the selections will be announced during the commercials.
