I disagree about Dareus being a "monster". I saw him get pancaked 1 on 1 during a 4th qtr pass play, and on many plays see him get no penetration on pass plays. I've mentioned this before...if Dareus is playing at 330-340, he needs to lose 20 pounds. I just don't see much explosiveness...at least not on a consistent basis. I know I am going to get bashed for this, but I expected more from the #3 overall pick. Okay...let the "DL take 3 to 4 years to develop" posts begin.

The final possession was a disaster for the Bills. It started with a false start to Pears, and ended with a tipped ball at the line of scrimmage. 4 plays, 10 yards....GAME OVER. Keep in mind the Bills got the ball back with 1:32 to go, and still had 1 timeout...plenty of time to get in FG range. Instead, they couldn't even get a single first down. To me this is more embarrassing than the bad call/bad throw on the previous possession.

I don't know if Fitz is a franchise QB, but he has had some very good moments this year. That being said, how can he throw two horrible int's(one of which cost the Bills a chance to take the lead in the 4th qtr), yet you give him a 8 out of 10. :blink:

I'm actually more pissed about not being able to get the red zone channel which it sounds like would become part of a sports tier package(which I already have), than I am about not having the NFL Network. I'd like to say this is embarrassing for both parties, but I don't believe they can be embarrassed...no matter what the issue is.

Don't forget the possibility of the game being cancelled due to severe weather(after all we just passed the anniversary of the October Storm). In that case, the Bills will be 4-1 heading into the bye.

Kozak assumed the team was in for its usual portion this season, which amounted to a sixth of the budget, but they weren't. He found out a week or two ago. You and I would certainly think that an NFL team could afford to stay involved with these kind of broadcasts -- it kind of falls into the "are you kidding me?" category -- but Kozak, even in his disappointment, said he understood and thanked the Bills for having been on board. Great to know the Bills are willing to help out in the community, when it comes to football no less.

Seriously? You have the most elusive QB the NFL has ever seen, and you think Sheppard seemed a "tad slow" on the play. I'm far from being a Bills homer, but put any NFL LB in that same position going up against Vick, and they will fare no better.

Maybe the reason he is on the practice squad is because he hasn't completely grasped the offense. You know the kind of thing where when you run the incorrect route, it turns into a pick six. :doh:

Am I the only one concerned that the Kelly group, is being led by a guy who is not the sharpest tool in the shed? I realize it is not even close to the same level of business, but this is the same guy who stiffed a bunch of vendors/contractors when his restaurant went belly up. He is a great booster of the Bills. Beyond that...I'm not really sold on him or his potential group of investors buying the Bills, and IF Gillett is part of his group, it sounds like my concerns may have some merit.

This could be true, but I hope you understand how it comes across... You have been made privy to this information(Jim Kelly and Co. are definitely buying the team), but somehow it has not been leaked to any media outlet in WNY whether it be the Buffalo News, WGR550, WGRZ, WIVB or WKBW.
