Week 14 Bills at Eagles 2nd half thread

When the going gets tough, bad throws, penalties, & 2 yard passes. This team is a joke! -
Week 14 Bills at Eagles 2nd half thread

Good to see the defense came out for the 2nd half ready to play. -
I had to laugh during an Ole Miss game a couple weeks ago. They were speculating that Kelly may forego his last year because of financial hardship reasons. They then went on to explain that his father is a grocery store manager and his mother is a school teacher/guidance couselor/something like that. So they probably easily make 100k+ per year combined, and I'm supposed to feel bad for them upon hearing this? If you want to turn pro because you want no part of the college experience, fine. But don't try and sell me this line of crap. If they need money, go see brother Jim for a loan to tide you over for a year. What a joke.

Best/Worst Visiting Fan Experience
LabattBlue replied to The Real Buffalo Joe's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I've been to Miami 5 times. Each time I am amazed at the lack of security during the game. Arguments, escalating into shoving, escalating into fights...and NO security to be found anywhere. Not sure how they get away with this when big brother(the NFL) is always watching. -
First time in the Ralph since the remodel

If I was a betting man, I'd bet the house that Bills are in a new downtown stadium well before 2025. -
I've noticed Dareus on the sidelines during "rotation" in games this year during key points in the game. Sorry...there is a time to rotate, and then there are times when your best players MUST be on the field.

Throwing to Sammy=good things. Do it more Roman!
LabattBlue replied to TheFunPolice's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't know what is worse...not throwing to Sammy very much(which we have seen many times this season), or targeting him in the first half of a game which led to a monumental first half and then pretending he doesn't exist in the 2nd half. Just brutal. -
^^^ This. He doesn't belong anywhere near Rex at any point in the game. What a joke. I'm done with Rex. I guess this goes to show why the owners should have little say during the head coach hiring process.

I hate to admit it, but Taylor sucks

All I care about is when the Bills were trailing in the 4th quarter and they needed him to make plays, how effective was he? -

If it wasn't for the moron on KC that tackled him towards the first down marker, he would have been 3 yards short. Either way, no first down, and unless there was room to spare, he should have thrown the ball. -
The Honeymoon Period is Over With The Pegulas
LabattBlue replied to K-Apps's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Anytime your owners are involved with hiring anyone except for the executive VP in charge of football operations, it is a huge mistake. They shouldn't be involved with the interviewing or have any say in the hiring/firing of a GM/personnel guys/coaches. NONE. -

...and with the game on the line...HE DID NOTHING!!!! -
Rex brought in the scouting staff? HUH?

- Bad Offense - Bad Defense - Bad quarterbacking(Two key plays and he didn't throw the ball on either) - Bad coaching(Ignore Watkins like he never came out of the locker room for the 2nd half) - Bad challenges and non-challenges - Bad penalties(Hughes should have immediately been benched and then a ST penalty after that) THEIR PLAYOFF CHANCES JUST WENT UP IN FLAMES!

Bills and Sabres playing at the same time tonight
LabattBlue replied to Charles Romes's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It would be different if both were playing at home at the same time. Instead both are on the road. Also, it is not like it is two "can't miss" games. The Sabres are playing there 16th of 82 games against a fairly irrelevant Florida team. -
Phantom call on Robey =Royally Screwed in England
LabattBlue replied to Bocephuz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Who said the refs can't get together and discuss a call. That is an option on each and every play. Do they like to overrule a fellow official, probably not, but you do see it happen from time to time. -

LabattBlue replied to Bocephuz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Maybe from his angle that is what he saw(was there a camera angle from where that ref was standing?)...and he didn't have the luxury of 10 different angles and super duper slo mo that those of us at home had prior to throwing the flag. -
Phantom call on Robey =Royally Screwed in England
LabattBlue replied to Bocephuz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm going to take the refs side on this. There are 22 players on the field for every play x 100+ plays a game x 17 weeks of games. Of course bad calls are going to be made(even with replay in place). Would full-time officials help? Yes Would another 2 or 3 officials per game help? Yes Would simplifying the rules help(especially in regards to what is a catch)? Yes Would modification to replay help? Yes Will mistakes still be made? Absolutely. It's not an exact science. -
Phantom call on Robey =Royally Screwed in England
LabattBlue replied to Bocephuz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes it was a BAD call. It also should not have led to the game winning score. They were playing one of the WORST teams in the NFL at a neutral site and should have put the game away long before this penalty occurred. You know what the difference was? - TURNOVERS - BAD QB PLAY - PENALTIES...AGAIN! - INABILITY OF THE DEFENSE TO STOP A HORRIBLE OFFENSE WITH THE GAME ON THE LINE AFTER FIGHTING BACK FROM A 24 POINT DEFICIT.
