True. But I'm more concerned aobout Mr & Mrs Pegula being the ones with the final decision making powers. -
Rex Told Lynn That Lynn Would Be The Next Head Coach

F Anthony Lynn. He never made it above position coach for a 1000 years prior to the start of this season. -

Stop focusing on Brandon and be more concerned about the owners being involved. Them being involved is even more troublesome....unless it's just a brief meet and greet after the GM has selected the coach, and term has been agreed to. -

Wow. Way to think outside the box Sal. I don't think there is a .0001% chance this is how it played out. -

This is only a good thing if Pegula(s) and Brandon stay FAR away from the hiring of the next HC. -
I have a question about Doug has the 53 and Rex has the 46. Is it safe to assume, that Rex and Doug work together to acquire players that fit the offensive and defensive schemes of the coaches? I'd rather not think that Doug just says..."Hey I've always liked this guy and I'm going to sign him".

Some people just choose to ignore this fact. Either he sucks at reading defenses or he refuses to throw into tight spaces. Either way the experiment should be over.

Careful with your choice of words. No one is being forced to do anything. To me, this is just another reason to stop watching D-1 football. I pretty much gave up watching basketball because I got sick of the "one and done" stars. Now watch this trend take off. Maybe I should just stick with non-revenue producing NCAA sports, or watch D-2 and D-3 basketball and football instead.

Kids playing for free? Last time I looked they are getting a 4 year "free ride" to some of the best universities in the country...worth $150K or more.

Watch the game and count to 3 as the ball is snapped. That is the amount of time Brady usually gets rid of the ball by, and the time when TT has looked downfield, refused to throw, and begins his scramble, and a game of "to run or not to run". Two full years of this after being a understudy for several years in Baltimore, and he still can't/won't throw the ball into tight spaces. The light isn't going to come on next season or the season after that. The TT experiment should be over 2 weeks from now.

Passing YPG. Who cares about passer rating?

Watch Rex really close. I think he has been already told.

No F/A is going to go to another team if Rex is fired. It's all about the $$$..unless you are talking about even dollars, and deciding between a team with a great coach and a team with a crappy coach. Guess which category Rex and his bozo brother fit into? -
I would think that most of the top college players have some sort of insurance policy against a career ending injury, that was taken out either prior to their junior or senior seasons. Therefore, I call bull **** on a possible injury being the reason why they want to sit out their final college football games of their careers. I guarantee this will eventually snowball into guys sitting out whose teams are part of the football playoffs....and become an embarrassment for the players and college football in general.

New Chenelly Tweet - Coughlin an option

I don't believe anyone with unnamed sources. Just because Sal is local, doesn't make him more believable. -
New Chenelly Tweet - Coughlin an option
LabattBlue replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So you are surprised that his "sources" didn't come out and say Rex is to be fired...even if they know it is going to happen? This is assuming his "sources" actually know what Rex's future holds. -
Guess how many teams have a worse passing offense than the Bills? One...49ers. Even if they upped their passing offense by 50 yards, to a very modest 230 yards a game, it would probably make a big difference. It is mind boggling that even if they are averaging 230, they are still near the bottom 1/3 of the league. Instead you have a QB that is gun shy, stands in the pocket for 3 seconds, takes off, and either throws on the run, or just takes off. You really think that is a formula for leading a team to the playoffs, or gasp...a team that can win a playoff game?

How'd that workout for the teams that went after McDaniel, Weis, Crennel, and probably a couple others I'm forgetting about? -
This thread is laughable. If I didn't know better, I'd swear this was referring to the aftermath of Lucic running Miller a few years back. Only difference...this is football, not hockey. What do people expect? A bench clearing brawl? C'mon man!

I agree. Brandon going back to VP of marketing? LOL I am pretty sure he would quit first. Where is the solution at QB who can lead this team to the playoffs and then, hold on... win a playoff game by being a QB. -

Any coach who takes a good defense and makes a mess of things over the course of two years, deserves to be dismissed. Lesson hopefully learned by the Pegulas...don't give former NFL HC's with mediocre W/L records...5 year deals. Better lesson to be learned...Owners and team presidents should not be the ones hiring the head coach. -
If Rex is fired, does a team hire him as DC?
LabattBlue replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
$15 million over the next 3 seasons in Pegula bucks and a broadcasting gig...no need to ever be part of the coaching merry-go-round again. -
In theory...how is a team that practices in an indoor facility all week long built for games in inclement weather?
-
How did the Bills end up with 4 home games from Thanksgiving weekend until the end of the season? Don't teams have some say as to their schedule? I would think the Bills would have objected to half of their home games being in late November and December?
