I bought a new car in July and have listened to Howard for the last 4 months(free Sirius trial), after not having had SIrius radio for at least the last 5 years. A few observations... - The 45-90 minute "star" interviews are boring beyond belief...and even more boring when they are replayed endlessly the 4 days when Howard isn't live. - When they do "Sternthology", they have thousands of hours of audio to choose from, but they pick 4 bits, and repeat them over and over that week. - When and why did they stop staff from being on the "wrap up" show? It's a bore now. - I'll be honest, if the show everyday consisted of Howard, Sal, Richard, Gary, JD, Fred & Ronnie, and no more celebrity ass kissing interviews, the show would be 100% better. I'm on the fence if I will keep the SIrius subscription. Maybe if they offer me a good deal....I'm not paying the $20 a month rate or whatever it is.

Lower Bowl - Security Asked Us to Sit Down

Got it...the only people in the stadium for those games were all in section 135, which then constitutes "everyone". -
Lower Bowl - Security Asked Us to Sit Down

Everyone? I've been to dozens of games since the 70's and have never once had to stand for even a quarter of the game, let alone 90%. -
Yes every team has highs and lows(see Pittsburgh this week vs last week), but I look at a couple things... 1 - Have to win your home games. Having 2 losses or less at home, IMO is a must. I hope losing the home opener against a mediocre team doesn't come back to haunt them. 2 - When the season is on the line, find a way to win. Remember losing to Pittsburgh's 3rd stringers a few years back? 3 - Have to have above average QB play all season long. Will TT give them that? 4 - Must win against teams that are likely not going to be playoff teams(see next 3 games). I don't care if the Rams are 3-1, I'd be shocked if they are in the playoffs with that QB and offense.

It's only been 4 games, but I appear to be really wrong on Prescott.

Hate it. I wanted to reach into my TV and punch Lynn. It is a dated gimmick that you almost never see in the NFL anymore. Running it once is bad enough. Run it 3 or 4 times, and I wonder about his ability to be an OC.

I've seen the Bills in Oakland, Miami, Jacksonville, KC, Dallas, Indy & Tampa. Never once did I have to stand all game or even 50% of the time. -

Those who want to stand when all others around them are sitting do so because... A - Entitlement(I paid for my ticket, and I will do whatever I want) B - I'm a super fan who needs to show everyone else when to sit or stand C - Drunk D - Obnoxious E - ALL OF THE ABOVE The only guaranteed way to avoid the above is to sit in seats where there is no one in front of you...first row of the lower bowl, first row of the club seats, first row of the upper deck, or the seats at the top of an exit tunnel. -
Jocoby Brissett - torn ligaments - surgery
LabattBlue replied to buffalobillsfootball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Would the Pats be the first team in NFL history to win 4 straight games with a different starting QB in each game? Garrappalo Brissett <week 3 QB> Brady <edited>Ooops...forget Brady not back until Game 5 -
Antonio Brown, Big Ben and Leveon Bell will make any OC look good.

Why isn't Jonathan Williams playing?

I thought the clock on his suspension doesn't start ticking until he is under contract? -
What did that small pocket of people in the mid-west(parts of oklahoma, kansas and missouri) do to deserve getting the Bills game?

Are the Pegula's meddling owners?

I agree with this 100% and I don't care what other NFL teams hierarchy looks like. -

LabattBlue replied to Jerry Jabber's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't even know what it means when I read that Brandon and Pegula have meetings with players? Crossing paths and chatting about the weather, etc..., or scheduled one on one meetings with key players? If the latter, what the heck is on the meeting agenda? I can see Whaley having such meetings with players, but Brandon and Pegula...just can't buy it. I don't care if they are respectively, the team president and owner, stay the F*** away from football operations, and stick to the business side of the team. I can't say it enough...what a joke this franchise is and has been for the last 16 years(with and without Ralph). -

How can the reason for being inactive is because of an injury, when he wasn't listed on the injury report for week 2? -

So in other words hire a GM that is the czar that you said we don't need? LOL -

They were involved in the hiring of Rex /endthread -
I thought the same thing. You would think there would be a alternate way to get to the locker room from the field for cases like this. If not, the architect f***ed up.

Raiders looking to move to Las Vegas?
LabattBlue replied to mellaman101's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree that a bigger stadium would be filled to capacity every week. Much like the NHL franchise just awarded, if an NFL franchise was in Vegas, any tickets not bought up by locals, would be gobbled up by opposing teams fans each and every week. What better place to go see your favorite team play than in Vegas. -

Okay smart guy...then tell me how Hoyer and Mallett "LOOKED GREAT". I didn't realize "amazing success" and "looked great" were polar opposites. -

I wouldn't be surprised if the Pats signed some aging vet off the street for this two game stretch. Then again the ego of BB may get in the way, and he believes he can win no matter who is under center including Brissett. -
