Unless it’s a little kid, i would never sign anything for free. At Sabres games/practices , I’ve seen too many losers with their backpacks full of pictures, pucks, cards and anything else they can get a player to sign...only looking to make a quick buck off it. There is zero interest on their part in terms of collecting. Therefore, I don’t blame players for charging for their John Hancock.

As a kid growing up(late 60's & early 70's) here in WNY, I loved wrestling...Dominic DeNucci & Tony Parisi, Big Cat Ernie Ladd, Bobo Brazil, etc... Whenever I hear this song, which used to be the theme music of Saturday afternoon wrestling, it takes me back to my youth, and love of professional wrestling...

Friends I grew up with on the same street...haven't seen them in 25 years or more. Friends I went to HS with(graduating class of 600+ and I still live in an adjacent suburb)...unless I run into them by chance, and I happen to recognize them(unlikely lol), not since graduation in the mid 70's.

I often wonder why sports broadcasters wear coats and ties? Considering the audience, and the environment they work in, wouldn't matching golf shirts and khakis be perfectly acceptable to the viewers? Would any focus group come to the conclusion that "I want the broadcasters to be dressed in suits"? Just seems ridiculous at a time when so many workplaces now have relaxed dress codes. This includes PbP guys, analysts, TV sports talk shows, TV news sportscasters, etc...

I'd take a shot on him. Bring him in and let him sit the bench the rest of the year. If he stays out of trouble, give him a chance to compete next year. Of course, he'd probably beat out the competition, including Allen, which would make McBean look bad...so that means he's never going to be a Bill.

I’d go with Peterman until Allen is ready. The season is over. Maybe just maybe the light comes on for Peterman. There is NO point in playing Grandpa Anderson. This assumes McClappy is even aware who is playing on the offensive side of the ball.

McClappy should have nothing but WR's on the practice squad. If after a month they show any promise, move them up to varsity. If not, cut them...then rinse and repeat. Instead, it will continue to be a steady diet of DT's and CB's on tryout day each week.

Only one thing matters when it comes to free agency... SHOW ME THE MONEY!! All other factors are a distant 2nd.
