The host city would never go for a Saturday SB. That would be one less day the hotels and restaurants are filled. When game is on Sunday, fans come into town on Thursday or Friday( and also allows for those who can’t get a weekday off to fly in on Saturday) and stay until Monday. Move the game to Saturday, fans still come in Thursday or Friday and head out Sunday morning.

The same game this author was watching.... http://www.philly.com/eagles/jason-peters-postseason-win-khalil-mack-bears-trey-burton-20190107.html -
I'm surprised how little love the first 3 or 4 albums are getting.

As I watched Peters dominate Mack for most of the game(as he continues down the road to the HoF), it got me thinking, who was the GM when the trade with Philly took place?

Sunday NFC Wild Card: Eagles at Bears 4:40 NBC

Big **** Nick does it again. Unbelievable. -
I'll go on record and say that Tyree will be in and out of the NFL within 3 years. At the mid-major level, every time I watched him, I saw nothing but inconsistent efforts. I think he got some bad advice looking to transfer from UB, and even worse advice to turn pro, with a year of eligibility remaining.

attendence should picks up next year

I’m really surprised Pegula doesn’t push for more early season games. I think the last 2 seasons(or 2 out of 3), the Bills have had 3 home games in December. Tough sell when the team is doing well...almost impossible when the team is average to below average. -
Buffalo's reputation amongst free agents
LabattBlue replied to clayboy54's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree. Very petty on the organization to have a crappy locker room for the visitors. Do they think it is some kind of advantage? It is more along the lines of embarrassing. Not saying it has to be as nice and spacious as the home teams locker room, but it should at least be updated in line with visitors facilities in the newer stadiums. -
All-Pro Team Selections (No Bills)
LabattBlue replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You do know there is a difference between the “pro bowl” and the “AP All-Pro Team”? -
His results in the passing game was where I expected it to be. Lots of ups and downs. Where he surprised me and most everyone else was his ability to make plays with his legs. That being said, his legs are only going to take this team so far(mediocrity). If they are going anywhere with Allen under center, he is going to have to improve a LOT in the passing game.

The train horn is bush league and annoying. Get rid of it. If you want the crowd to be loud, make games more meaningful late in the year.

People need to use the draft pick point chart as a guideline when proposing trade up or trade down proposals. There was one the other day suggesting the Bills go from 9 to 13 and acquire an extra 2nd. IMO...no way are you getting that much in return.

Crossman and Castillo? Who stays and who goes?
LabattBlue replied to LabattBlue's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I’m shocked...I thought he would have stayed status quo for at least one more season. For someone who is not a fan of McD, I am pleasantly surprised. Now let’s see who the replacements are. -
Pyramid scheme or MLM?
LabattBlue replied to Not at the table Karlos's topic in Off the Wall Archives
The wife of someone I friended on Facebook is into the "BeachBody" pyramid scheme. She tags him on all her BeachBody posts, so I constantly see them. If you are not familiar with it, just google "BeachBody Scam". Yet here she is touting it as the greatest thing ever. People are gullible. -

I'm glad I made the roadie to Detroit to see McCartney live for the first time October 2017. Given his age and his voice giving out, I can't believe he will be touring much longer. PS The concert was awesome. 3 hours long! -

Final Tremaine Edmunds numbers, shoutout from Bills PR

Oh really? Point me to the interview with Beane or McD where they say this. So what happens when a team realizes he is a liability in the running game, and just keeps pounding the rock? I'm going to guess that most teams still run the ball at least 40% of the time. -

...and yet he badly failed the eye test of being a run stuffing MLB. Let's see if they go into 2019 prepared to go with him at MLB the entire season, or will they have a Plan B to move him outside and move somone else inside. -
Crossman and Castillo? Who stays and who goes?
LabattBlue replied to LabattBlue's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Surprised that 98% of the voter thought that they would both be gone, neither would be gone, or Castillo would be gone...yet Crossman is still standing...so far. -

One down...one to go. ? -
I don’t watch a ton of College football, or maybe I’m not paying close attention when I do watch. When did they make a rule where you can fair catch a kickoff in the field of play and it goes to the 25? I’m not sure who is ruining the kickoff more... NFL or NCAA?

Are the Bills satisfied with their current RB's ??
LabattBlue replied to PUNT750's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They need a talented RB(via draft or FA) if Shady ends up being done in the offseason. Enough of the senior citizen movement at the position. I dont want Ivory, Ford, or Murphy as my #2 going into training camp. Not even sure I want Shady at the top of the depth chart next summer. -
Bills Should Be Judicious in Free Agency
LabattBlue replied to racketmaster's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have no problem with them overspending...as long as you are getting a quality starter. When you sign to many Charles Clay/Trent Murphy type free agents is when you get in trouble. They chew up a lot of cap space without getting much in return.
