  1. I often wonder why when you have all the money you will ever need(and then some), why not retire and enjoy life while you have your health. You never know what the next day may hold. Really sad.
  2. I think they go OL or DL with their first pick. Still holes to be filled.
  3. If Russ was still here, he'd find out what kind of adult beverage Ansah prefers, and if he tries to leave without signing, Russ would get on the bat phone and convince the black widow to offer up a contract to his liking. lol Wasn't this his MO when they were interviewing Rex?
  4. I'm always envious of other NFL teams that have dynamic dependable slot receivers. Now the Bills have one(even if he just turned 30)...the question is, do they have a QB who can consistently get the ball to him on underneath and crossing routes.
  5. Maybe I missed some, but I haven't noticed the really long term contracts. About time the teams smartened up.
  6. There are exceptions to the rule, but IMO, in the case of the majority of players...MONEY TALKS!
  7. I don't think they would be committing 7+ to Ty, if they were going after Daryl Williams. Also, Brown seems a couple mil to high at 9. I would have thought he'd come in comparable to the contract Beasley got. Still plenty of room for a pass rusher, or a guard. Not sold on Teller and Long.
  8. I don't mind overpaying to fix the OL. I've had enough of Mills, Ducasse, Groy, etc... If they could find a way to sign Williams or Saffold, and then draft an OL on Day 1 or Day 2, the OL should be a LOT better than last season.
  9. Maybe just maybe a kid from South Carolina wanted to play just a few hour drive from his hometown. WTF knows. I liked the kid a lot, and it pisses me off that the Bills never seem to be able to find the ideal slot guy, but hopefully they address it either via F/A or the draft.
  10. While there are plenty of quality players out there(and a ton of cap space to be spent), it is slightly odd that the first three guys to commit to the Bills, are a TE who missed almost all of last year, a CB who missed almost all of last year, and a 50 year old RB.
  11. I agree. No more Mills, Groy, or the center the signed a few weeks ago. It's time to stabilize the OL both through F/A AND the draft.
  12. I'm guessing that once a player verbally commits to a deal, he would be looked at unfavorably, if he reneged, and committed to another team who offered more between now and Wednesday afternoon(when contracts can be signed)??
  13. I'll be interested to see the numbers on some of the guys who are committing today.
  14. Big risk...he only missed two games in his first 3 years, but last year only played in 5 games. If he is healthy, he should be a solid starter. If the injury woes continue, that will be a big chuck of cap space in the trainers room.
  15. Humphries Paradis Williams(I think it is a long shot to get two of the premier OL on the FA market) A Tight End
  16. I must have missed something. Has every single F/A already signed or committed to teams other than the Bills? Just jump overboard already...there are plenty of Bills fans already in the water. LOL
  17. I think Paradis and Humphries coming here would be a great off-season....then draft a RT with their first pick.
  18. Ummm...maybe because one guy is proven, and the other two haven't even seen one day of a professional football training camp, let alone playing when the live bullets are flying. Just something you may want to consider.
  19. Just food for thought....MAYBE the Bills had no interest in James. Let's see how much Pete Metzelaars, I mean Scott Chandler...I mean Jesse James signs on the dotted line for, before jumping overboard.
  20. I'll be honest, without googling him, I could not even venture to guess what team he played for last year...one step further...I've never heard of him. lol
  21. ...and yet, you are probably one of the posters who gets all upset when someone bashes Buffalo.
  22. I'll puke if they go into the summer with McCoy and some other "over the hill" crap at #1 and #2 on the RB depth chart.
