    No one including myself has any idea how much input McD has in terms of FA, draft and roster construction, so be careful when kicking Beane to the curb, that part of the problem may still remain. IMO…my hunch is McD has a lot more say than most believe.

    IMO Bernard is too small for the position(especially in the run game), and if they let him go, McD will just replace him with someone of equal size. That being said, it would be cheaper than what Bernard will be asking for.

    Lot of love for Dyami…for a guy who hasn’t done a heck of a lot. Don’t think for a minute you are signing him for 5-6 per. That little playoff burst will earn him north of 10 per, for a team that is desperate at WR. Scott Mitchell & Rob Johnson say “buyer beware”.

    I cannot stand pitchers whose main pitch is bouncing the ball to home plate. Too many pitchers refuse to pitch in the strike zone with a “here it comes, try and hit it” approach. If it would stop “dirt ball”, I would be all for the steal of 1st base. It would be kind of Savannah Banana like, but who cares.

    Not sure why since I hated the evil empire($$$) of the Yankees, but I like the success of the Dodgers. I like Roberts, Ohtani, Freeman, Betts, etc… PS I grew up a Cardinal fan, lost interest in baseball for a couple of decades, but just started following baseball again a few years ago.
