  1. Is it bad that I had to look up who R. Thomas is, and even then, I still don't know who he is. LOL
  2. Hindsight is 20/20, but Rich waving around the blank check, and then subsequently dropping out was a mistake. IMO, it's hard to say because no one sees their books or know how they cook the books but...even the teams with the worst attendance still make money because of the TV contracts. Back to the topic, there is no excuse for the continued lack of success for this franchise. Do it with up and coming players, do it with career minor leagues, do it with over the hill MLB'ers, or do it with a combination of all of the above, but start putting winning teams on the field. This franchise has become so much of a joke, that I wonder if the Pegula's secretly bought them several years back.
  3. I am all about OL/DL at 9, but if they decide to move away from that strategy, I'd take Hock over Metcalf without any hesitation. Just say NO to Metcalf at 9.
  4. In no particular order... Williams Dillard Taylor Oliver Wilkens Hock I think I would be happy with any of the above.
  5. I've read that Williams has short arms. Is it really that big of a deal if his arms are 2" shorter than your average OT? Can't you make up for that with great technique/athleticism?
  6. If I ever lived close enough, I don't think I'd have any interest in standing around outside watching the draft(maybe for part of the 1st round). OTOH, give me a seat at Radio City Music Hall(or wherever it was held in NYC), a draft magazine, and my phone with internet, and I'd be there for all 3 days. In the meantime, I am happy watching all 3 days on TV....and actually prefer that it is Thu-Sat instead of Sat-Sun.
  7. Rule 3.14 in the CBA states that a team cannot have two players with the same name during the regular season. Prior to this rule being added, you could have 53 Josh Allen's if you wanted to.
  8. Newsflash...teams other than the Buffalo Bills have good offensive players!
  9. Drafting another Alabama DT in the Top 3, and trade up giving up next years #1 as part of the package? I’m going to have nightmares the next two nights. ?
  10. I heard the PFF guys talking him up a couple weeks ago on Sirius/NFL channel as one of the best at his position. Is he worth a 2nd round pick, or is he just another “high motor guy” who tries hard but doesn’t get the results to match the effort?
  11. If the above speculation is true, than i stand corrected.
  12. Thanks smart guy. I wouldn’t expect them to have 5000 players on their board, but I would expect them to have ~300. Unless the quote is misleading.
  13. There will be 250 or so players drafted in 2019. This was in a BN article over the weekend. So what do the Bills do for the later rounds when all the players on their “draft board” are gone? By the time the first round rolls around, Beane said the Bills’ draft board will contain between 115 and 140 players. https://buffalonews.com/2019/04/19/buffalo-bills-2019-nfl-draft-needs-defensive-tackle-wide-receiver/
  14. This would not be a good LAMP parody if I didn’t bump it right up until the draft. My credibility is on the line. This mock took weeks of research.
  15. Anyone have luck with a decent airfare from Buffalo to Nashville. Prices seem to be crazy, and the alternative is an 11 hour drive. Really want to attend, but not looking to break the bank, or take a long drive for a 3 or 4 day trip.
  16. I think we should go with "Run Deep" again. That was so friggin' stupid the first time around, it should be resurrected just to remind everyone of the clown show going on behind the scenes of OBD. LOL
  17. 1 - Arizona...Kyler Murray That's all I've got. I just wanted to refer to myself in the 3rd person. Seems to be a trend.
  18. So ABC owns ESPN, but they are going to have competing coverage? Why not just simulcast the ESPN coverage on ABC for the cord cutters. On a related side note, I can't stand Eisen. Maybe it's from his ESPN days when he thought he was so funny, but every time I see his face on the screen, I want to throw a brick through my TV. I've professed my allegiance to ESPN's draft coverage, but I miss Berman. The only time I will flip is when ESPN goes to commercial. I love me some Kiper during the 3 day draft.
  19. Maybe you should change the title of the thread. It doesn’t exactly sum up your point.
  20. A goofball yes, but unlike many knuckleheads in the NFL, he has stayed out of trouble. No arrests, no suspensions, no drug issues(at least I don't think so), and from what I've read, has banked almost every penny he has earned. So if anything, he at the very least knows how to manage his money. Big deal...they get a replacement Lombardi for this SB.
  21. It would be nice if the OP updated the info in post # 1.
  22. I think I'm the only one who doesn't care if the Bills are on in prime time.
  23. I would hope this is not true. Nashville and Miami are my 1a & 1b choices for a roadie.
