We will never know, but they would have played UCLA in the championship game. They were a monster powerhouse back then, and were in the midst of a 7 year run as champions(and 10 in 12).
Let’s wait and see how many seats have a $500 PSL attached to them. My guess is they will be minimal just so the marketing slogan can be…”PSL’s starting at $500”.
The mind boggling part of this is why any network pays crazy money to the announcing crew.
Who decides to watch a game because of the PbP guy or the color analyst.
It’s all about the teams on the field and not the talking heads.
My only concern…he is boring as can be, yet because of his star power is kept on for many many years to come…much like Aikman who is more boring than watching paint dry.
He should consider himself extremely lucky he didn’t kill anyone when speeding down Milestrip Rd back when he was a Bill. Instead of crashing into a tree it could have been a person or group of people.
