I have never heard Sal do PbP of any sport and would be shocked if he replaced Murph(whenever he hangs it up), but how hard can it be to replace… Touchdown Buffalo, Diggs, Touchdown, what a play, Touchdown! Rinse and repeat for every scoring play.

Just my 2 cents, but if you have a kicker who can boot it deep into the EZ, and you sometimes have him intentionally kick it short, you have a ST coach who is overthinking it.

Bad for WGR. Probably means a replacement by some young gun who wants to fill hours with yelling, screaming, hot takes, and talking over callers and co-hosts. I remember Howard starting out on WBEN. Has always been a class act.

My prediction… He will excel at jumping on a pile of tacklers 5-10 yards down the field, and be super effective with his 200” wingspan standing in the middle of the field while covering no one in particular. He will SUCK at rushing the passer, finding the right gap on running plays, creating turnovers, and being involved in TFL. Yep…pay the man!!!!!

Keep in mind that no team is ever going to play 11 backups all at once in the regular season. The question is, how can 1 or 2 backups play among 9 or 10 starters…when they are needed.
