We have consistently seen chinks in McD's in-game armor, going back to last year. When he first got here, he was an unknown HC and we all hoped he might prove to be a really good one. I think we have seen enough to know that is not the case, at least from an in-game tactics/game management perspective. I think he's still a good motivator and may do other things well... But if you think this guy is going to outsmart BB in-game when we play the Patriots later this year, forget it.

That's interesting. This can't be good for Leslie Frazier's career. You can make a fairly strong argument for letting him go immediately IMO.

Huh? Unlikely to see more info? The press in NYC would have been feasting off something like that for 10 minutes. To their defense, they did continue the line of questioning later, after I wrote that live.

Sounds like something weird going on, whereby Vontae basically said "F this ****, I'm outta here." Remember, this game looked ugly at half time. He'll be done with the organization after this. I guess he is already!

One thing he needs to learn, right away, is to slide feet first at the end of a big run. He's a good runner but he should not be receiving big contact at the end of runs. The coaching staff needs to work on that and improve it immediately.

The flaws he has always shown are still prevalent. Most disconcerting is his accuracy, which remains a problem. The narrative in pre-season was that he was improving in that area with better footwork. That almost never works.

Josh Allen really has a very good hard count. He has gotten or almost gotten Ds several times in several games.

The whole tone of that is depressing and doesn't cast the advertiser in a positive light. It's a buzz kill.
