Survey for new stadium location paper
Fadingpain replied to billsfan43's topic in Off the Wall Archives
No need for the survey. The location has long since been determined. It's east of the city. I'll be able to tell more once my real estate purchase closes. -

They need burner phones. Should look up Jimmy from Better Call Saul. -
Do you want the Bills to make the playoffs this year?
Fadingpain replied to corta765's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Kind of a stupid premise to be honest. No one wants us "not to make the playoffs". A better question would be what is better, short term gains with an all-out push for the playoffs, or a view to the long term which maybe doesn't give us the best chance to win now. I vote for the latter approach. I think the team will actually go for the former approach and we will see Anderson starting games. And yes, that's a really bad idea. -
I think that is the only side a lot of "sports fans" care about! This stuff is often like soap operas for men.

Priority: Develop Allen or Win Ugly?
Fadingpain replied to Berky1010's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The correct answer is "Develop Allen" every day of the week and twice on Sundays. Which is why, when this organization starts Anderson, it's going to be really, really tough to take. -

She's one of the better ones we've seen in this genre of posting. The article mentions she was guard on the basketball team. I bet she has outstanding ball skills. Yes, every day of the week and twice on Sundays. -
Just wanted to say it was really, really enjoyable watching the Yankees' failed comeback last night. They kept showing kids and various fans in the crowd getting all excited as the Yankees made the bottom of the 9th interesting. And then the game ended and the Yankees' season ended too. So enjoyable. The looks of pain on the faces of all the animals in the Bronx Zoo. Just great fun and dare I say, even a little heart warming.

Here's your "Wacky Obit Of The Week"

Today I learned that Dua Lipa is an English performer, not Portuguese for "two lips."
-
Never heard of her. She's English, born in London. Who knew. I guess her heritage is Albanian. I thought the thread title was Portuguese for "Two Lips" or something. She's cute.

I voted "YES" but the poll doesn't stipulate "WHEN" the benching takes place. It will take a while for it to happen. BTW: I think this is a horrible idea and Allen should NOT be benched. However, I think this coaching staff will add to their comedy of errors and replace Allen with Anderson. This season should be about Allen's development, not treading water with a total nobody like Anderson. And the only way to develop Allen is for him to play. You seem to be saying you would not bench Allen for Anderson. That's not the question here. Will the Bills bench Allen for Anderson? That's the question! I think they will. And yes, that's a huge mistake.

Big question- did the first humans cook meat or fish?
Fadingpain replied to mead107's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I bet cooking with fire was discovered by accident or mistake, and then people realized it was better doing it that way than going raw. -
Do you watch "Forged in Fire" on the History channel? I think I have seen every episode from every season now, and can't wait for Wednesday to get here so I can see the new one. If I had the time and the facility for handling that kind of noise/mess, I would definitely be forging knives.

How often do "project" quarterbacks work out?
Fadingpain replied to Klaista2k's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I understand what you mean, but completely sheltering Allen and virtually taking the ball out of his throwing hand, as we did against the Titans, makes zero sense. He needs to play the position fully, and learn/develop if/where/when he can. if Derek Anderson plays a game without Allen being injured, I'll go insane. -
The topic of 3 Quarterbacks was discussed at length in the middle of Hour 3 of Schopp and Bulldog today. Schopp thought keeping Nate as a 3rd QB was nuts. Bulldog said something like "we cut our most experienced WR the day before Allen's first start b/c we needed an extra DT b/c it was going to be hot out. If that is how you are going to handle your roster, game to game, the luxury of a 3rd QB who has failed so spectacularly is absurd." https://wgr550.radio.com/media/audio-channel/10-09-hr-3-schopp-bulldog

Josh Allen, and QBs like Josh Allen. Reaches at the draft. I think that's what he's getting at. -
You are suggesting that Shady is a component to Allen's development as a QB and therefore we lose something if Shady is traded? That's pretty far fetched. If we can get a 3rd or better for him, cut him loose. He won't be around here much longer anyway, and I highly doubt Allen's success or lack thereof will be linked to Shady's presence or absence in any way.

That's my boy Joe Rogan doing the interviewing. Haven't been listening to his podcasts lately; he must have mentioned this with one of his guests or will at least do so soon. That's pretty funny.

I agree with this. The proper way to go about cooking a chicken wing is not some mysterious trade secret and it's not very complicated.

Foolproof method for hooking BIG Asian Carp
Fadingpain replied to Cripple Creek's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Rather than ask how to catch a carp, a better question to ask is why one would want to catch a carp.
