Nonsense! Throw in a little stars 'n stripes...goes with anything in that color scheme. I'm talking like a whooshy stripe or 2 on the shoulder pad with a star set against it...not much. Throw it in there! It's like all the bunting you see at baseball stadiums! LOL. What the hell! Put it out there.

They also aren't as familiar with the details, like Rex's experimental hybrid defense, a feeling of derision among some/many of the defensive players, and so on. The D is likely to improve this year for reasons which have nothing to do with personnel. The national press doesn't latch onto that type of nuance.

This is a good sign. The national press is always a step behind and rarely has their finger on the pulse of what's going on in the present, at least among teams like Buffalo. Let this be the "No Respect" year for the Bills. That type of motivation worked very well for the Bills during the Super Bowl years.

This photo has me thinking... How about a minimal, tasteful, addition of stars and stripes to the regular Bills uniforms? Just a taste here or there. Kind of the "Captain America" Super Hero theme coupled with the standard Bills theme. Could be cool.

I'm super excited for the tournament and don't consider it meaningless. It's the hockey version of the World Cup and that is a big deal. I am sure WGR will devote a huge portion of their on-air time today to the Bills home opener. But Hockey Hotline is carved out as a hockey specialty show and I see now reason for that to change. You know, in big cities, sometimes there are 3 different games being played at the major league level in three different sports in the same town on the same day! There's room for all the sports.
