  1. No, I don't think that is what it was at all. I know just what you are talking about. McD just hung up without saying "bye" or anything else once Schopp effectively made it clear the interview was over by saying "All right Sean, thanks."
  2. If you didn't hear the very end, you missed almost everything that is important. PS: Schopp didn't act offended at that point of the interview as you suggest; he specifically said "Well maybe you don't want to address that" and he then politely moved on to the next issue. I guess you've decide Schopp is an idiot and does everything wrong, so you are going to see things only one way, as opposed to how they might actually be. That's nothing new around here!
  3. Thanks for this. They have Hour 4 up now and I'm listening. Schopp was indeed back. He actually said to Bulldog: "So, where were we?" and Bulldog just laughed. That was as much as they mentioned about him missing a half hour or so of on-air time. They won't talk about this again I don't think. Would love for a caller to ask them, as that would force them to say something, even if just "don't want to comment." I think Schopp had it out with McDermott during the break, it got into a heated argument, and then Schopp didn't feel it approrpriate to end the conversation to go back to the show, so he continued the phone call and missed on-air time. I don't know. I think Schopp would have personal contact info. for McD.
  4. I posted the link to hour 3. You can listen to the whole thing if you want. Your take isn't really accurate.
  5. When the segment was over, Schopp said: "All right Sean, thanks." And McD responded by just hanging up the phone while saying nothing.
  6. Which "organization" are you referring to? The Bills or WGR-550? Are you suggesting that McD called WGR and told them to get Schopp off the air? I listend to the remainder of Hour 3 and indeed, Schopp never came back on air. The kid who posts recorded content on the website seems to have screwed up Hour 4, as he often does. The audio file won't load up properly, so I can't listen to it. Did you happen to listen to Hour 4 live? I am dying to know if Schopp came back, on-air, in the 4th hour at all. I hope they address all this in their show tomorrow, but I fear they may not.
  7. No ****? You're a day late and a dollar short to this conversation.
  8. I did listen to the post game show yesterday, and yes, Schopp was very critical of McD. He has been like that for a week or 2 now. His criticism has increased in intensity, no doubt. I am listening to the remainder of Hour 3 from their show today as I type, and I see what you mean about Schopp not being around. The interview with McD ended, and S&B went to break pretty quickly. After the break, Schopp was magically not there. I didn't really notice for a while until reading your comments! But it's just all Bulldog talking and taking phone calls. No comments from Mike Schopp. I wonder if McD initiated a call with Schopp, or vice versa, during the commercial break after their segment, and it blew up into some big thing and Schopp was not available. I will continue to listen to Hour 3 and Hour 4 and try to figure out what happened. This is definitely some entertaining stuff!
  9. Just listened. McD did not "hang up" on them, per se. The interview was over and Mike Schopp said "All right Sean, thanks!" And then McD just hung up the phone without saying "you're welcome" or anything else. They then went to break. I listen to these guys all the time and this segment every week. There was an uneasy tension running throughout this entire conversation and McD was not his usual self. He was a little short at times. Mike Schopp is VERY HARD on McD and the team in general; I suspect word has finally gotten back to McD about this and McD knows much more about what Mike Schopp says about him than Sean would ever let on publicly. The interview got off to a bad start with Mike Schopp's very first question. He basically asked something like "what do you see in Nate Peterman and like that the rest of us don't." I thought that was pretty edgy, much more so than Mike Schopp normally is in these things...and I think it just set McD off for the entire thing. Pretty entertaining overall. The question now is how does this impact the rest of their segments for the season and will this be addressed at all, next week. We can only hope! I'll have my popcorn ready.
  10. I haven't listened yet, but McD's segment was a part of Hour 3 today. Here's the link: https://wgr550.radio.com/media/audio-channel/10-15-hr-3-schopp-bulldog
  11. In today's PC, HC Sean McDermott said Allen is "week to week" but in theory he could still play on Sunday. Who will be the starter?
  12. I agree completely with the underlined text. I couldn't disagree more with the italicized text. Why in the world would you draw such a conclusion, other than because it is the outcome you prefer? I am interpreting what you wrote to mean "Locker was bad, Allen will be very good." Did you mean something else? Did you mean Allen will equally flame out, but in a very different way? Thank you. I started pointing out this inconsistency last night. I find it hilarious that the majority here suggests there is no way to know how Allen might turn out, and that he is likely to end up as our franchise guy, while it is clear Nate is a miserable failure and must be run out of town immediately. Both QBs have played 5 games
  13. The highlighted is completely false.
  14. With due respect, I think that if Josh was capable of progressing to the point where he can be a good, long term, franchise QB, he would look better than he does now. He is currently completely lost and unable to perform basic core skills which are required for a QB to be successful at the NFL level. Further, he has never had those skills in the first place. Could he morph into "the guy"??? Sure he could. Is it probable? Not in my opinion. In fact, it's quite a long shot.
  15. I didn't think he meant right now as in "today" but maybe he did. I thought he meant in terms of the general state of team in the coming offseason. Obviously they wouldn't poach a coach in the middle of the season and try to somehow change what we are doing on the fly. It would be an off-season project but I thought that's what he meant.
  16. Actually, there are quite a few posters here who think defense matters and that a perennial contender can be built with mediocre, game managing QB play, and a very strong defense. It's much more effective to be able to go 80 yards for a touchdown in 40 seconds whenever you need to. We have no QB worth mentioning in our system right now, and the brain trust at OBD will probably draft a defensive tackle with their high, first pick, next year. To replace the one we already had and that they gave away for nothing. As if that will translate to wins and losses. It won't.
  17. There already is a thread on the Wall talking about what could have been done differently last offseason. A number of posts commented on the idea of getting Bridgewater.
  18. Right now, by far, the correct answer is Tyrod Taylor. The plan with moving on from Tyrod and taking on a new QB was to hopefully get to the point where the new guy would be much better than Tyrod. Short term setback for long term gain. Does that concept confuse you? Of course, Allen was the wrong pick and we'll be lucky if he ever achieves a steady Tyrod level of success, but that's beside the point. Seriously? You think Josh Allen, right now, is anything other than completely lost? He does bust into a nice run now and again, that's true. But so did Tyrod!
  19. Blah blah blah. Can we trade Josh Allen for him right now straight up? Actually, feel free to throw in any single other player on our roster as a complementary gift as well. The Chiefs might like Tre'Davious White or Edmunds, for example. Not a lot to choose from really. Let's do that deal right now. Can we?
  20. Whose faith am I trashing? It is a fact that Nate Peterman and the HC are both hardcore newborn Christian types and I have no doubt that plays a role in how McDermott evaluates players. Ad Deo, Deek! whatever.
  21. Totally agree with your second paragraph and I'm pretty sure that is not an opinion, but more a statement of fact (regarding the hierarchy at OBD). As far as Peterman remaining here as long as McDimwit? Not sure about that. Maybe.
  22. Yup. The crazy Christian conspiracy at OBD is a part of why our QB is Josh Allen and not Josh Rosen as well. Keep in mind Pegula is a very religious Catholic as well. He's a part of this problem too.
  23. Maybe McDermott can follow suit here and fire our OC. Well an OC might not take the job as a lateral type of move, but how about an up and coming offensive coach that is trying to make a name for himself? Like the OL coach somewhere or a WR coach somewhere...that guy would take the job.
