  2. Uh oh. That sounds like the 49ers fans with Greg Roman. That didn't work out well.
  3. Schutt hopes to make the F7 available to colleges in time for their spring practices in March and April, and to NFL teams in time for OTAs in May. Interesting article and design. The quick release face mask is also really interesting. Good to get the face mask out of the way without having to move the players head/neck.
  4. I'm just reporting what Sal said and the manner in which this came up.
  5. Sal did a fairly lengthy 15 or 20 minute segment with S & B and this just randomly came up in the context of other conversation. S&B didn't even really dwell on it as much as you might think. It definitely wasn't a "story" being "pushed" by Sal. It was just a comment made among many others during a 15 minute + conversation about many different Bills related topics.
  6. Yesterday John Clayton said he was fairly convinced Romo will end up in Chicago. Best fit/makes most sense in his opinion. In other news, Clayton said Charles Clay will not play this Sunday due to injury.
  7. The thing that is creepy is that we really did seem extra prepared or ready for some big games. Looking back, you can almost tell the games where Rex really took it personally and gave it all he had in the week leading up to the game. And then in other weeks, not so much.
  8. I thought of that connection too. I don't think we'll see Rex as a coach again. First, no one is going to hire him. Second, he doesn't have it in him to live that lifestyle anymore, apparently.
  9. Sal C. just now on WGR 550 said he was talking to someone inside the Bills organization who has been there forever. The contact said Rex Ryan was the latest in/earliest to leave HC he has ever seen. Makes sense. The team didn't seem prepared on some Sundays. Thought it was an interesting comment.
  10. If the team is actually going into a rebuild mode, he'll be the first piece to be moved. Not sure they are doing a big rebuild. I'm just saying "if."
  11. He's as familiar with them as you are! Give it a rest sunshine. Maybe just for 24 hours? Give us all a day off! Pegula didn't buy either team out of love for the fans or anything other than his own ego and interests. If he decides he is bored with the whole thing, he'll sell. Shocking news, huh?
  12. Where is Barbara Billingsley when we need her!? "Check it bleed. Bro was on. Didn't trip!" [Translation: Mr. Striker performed exceptionally.]
  13. Why the fascination with the OC? QB is much more relevant and important. We'll find out soon enough who both will be.
  14. Yeah, but you're a meathead. You're forgetting this is TBD. This place is at least one cup and saucer short of a full place setting. Remember that slow kid you knew in grade school? He did 4th grade twice. This place is full of those guys, 20 years later.
  15. People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.
  16. Can we skip the football talk around here and just switch over to posting photos of hot chicks? It's definitely more entertaining.
  17. Bob Marley Get up Stand Up modified lyrics. Tank it, spank it tank it to rebuild Tank it, spank it comin' outta left field Burn it, churn it churn it for your life Burn it, churn it The sentiment is rife Dump 'em, thump 'em No value for our punks pump 'em, frump 'em gotta move these skunks Cause you know what most people think A great God will come from the skies Take away everything And let everybody fry
  18. The vast majority of the league is perpetually "close." There are only 3 or 4 lights out good teams each year, if that, and usually only 2 or 3 or 4 embarrassingly bad teams each year, if that. The rest of the entire league is somewhere in the middle...."close." What Doug Whaley doesn't get is that "close on paper" in the NFL doesn't mean close. It means "not one of the few contenders, like most of the league." There's a difference.
  19. He's not presenting that piece as either fan fiction or fake news... Just a stylistic way of saying "imagine if things were different and how refreshing that could be." He's not a reporter; he's a radio talk show host.
  20. I'm going to throw a name out there. Tim Tebow. Wait! Before you flame away, hear me out.... Nah, I'm just bullshitting.
  21. I think in the case of CJ, the term "project" is code for "not very good likely never will be." We need a plan B, C, D, E, F, and G.
