  1. Yes it is. On a related note, has anyone ever noticed that playing OL at the NFL level, comes down entirely to 1 skill? You have to be a giant, blubbery, freakishly large human...while still having good coordination of your entire body and quick feet with good balance. Any of us, if born into a 6'4" 325 lb. body, and with "quick feet" who grew up taking tap dancing classes b/c our mom was a professional dancer (or something) would have an excellent shot at a 12 year NFL career. It's actually kind of interesting; apparently this combination of characteristics (huge with good feet/balance) is really hard to find. Not many guys have it. It's easy to find the big slobs; much harder to find the big slobs with good balance, quick feet, and some basic level of overall athleticism/coordination to their body, particularly lower body. If you could combine a huge guy with the athletic ability of Tyrod Taylor, or every RB in the NFL, you'd have the world's best OL. The bar is low! Are you huge? Can you keep your balance and keep your legs under your body mass while moving quickly left or right? BAM! Big time NFL career waiting for you.
  2. Mr. Stay Puft misses practice and his availability for the game Sunday is in doubt, according to the HC of the team. Fantastic! This guy may have the best job of any person living in the USA... Who makes more $ while doing less, while actually being in the employ of a given party?
  3. Place the following Newtons in order according to their level of over-ratedness. Most over-rated is #1, and so on. A) Isaac Newton B) Cam Newton C) Juice Newton D) Fig Newton E) Olivia Newton-John F) Newton, Massachusetts G) Newton "Newt" Gingrich H) Newton (Unit of force) I) Nate Newton J) Wayne Newton
  4. If the cap penalty didn't exist, I think he'd already be gone. Would love to trade him for picks.
  5. Sal does a good job in this video of making an incredibly simple distinction seem remarkably complicated.
  6. If this is actually true and you ever need some body work done on your vintage Ferrari, this fireman in Worms is the man you want doing the job. The guy has the hands of a surgeon. Talk about "delicate" work.
  7. That's just some meathead football players being meatheads. Nothing new there.
  8. That dude likes some character from the late, great, Dave Chapelle show.
  9. Husband: "Honey, I'm bored. Let's see if my head will fit inside your #$*@." Wife: "OK, why not!?"
  10. ...a small band of highly annoyed aliens from the planet...
  11. I would say it is likely that Denver does not want to go to Buffalo. Has nothing to do with them being afraid of losing a football game though.
  12. I am confident that everyone here at TBD can believe in the truth of everything you wrote... WITH CONFIDENCE!
  13. The point is that it is not the only reason we lost; it is one of many. In that sense, the loss can't be tied to that single play.
  14. I definitely see Peterman as the future... ...of more TBD thread topics in which we debate who the QB should be, even if, ultimately, it shouldn't be Peterman!
  15. In fairness, it didn't have that feel to it. I love great defensive football too. There was a lot of ineptness on offense (on both sides) in that game!
  16. That's sort of skirting the issue though. He may get injured before he gets benched, but that's not really the idea here. The idea is to vote whether or not you think the team would bench him for his play, assuming he remains healthy.
  17. Not close to being right. Flacco, and to a sligthly lesser extent Eli, are the least respected guys in the entire league. As to why, I don't know.
  18. Just listening to GR-55... Mike Schopp just attacked a caller, proclaiming that Tyrod is just as good as Andy Dalton, Eli Manning, and Joe Flacco. He suggested Taylor has been a .500 QB on a team with a bad defense....and that there is nothing to suggest one is better than the other. Holy cow.
