Around The League: NFL Week 6 (I think?)
Fadingpain replied to boyst's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Game over Well on a bright side, the Jets AND Patriots look beatable this year if we catch them on the right day when we are firing on all cylinders. McCown sucks ass. -

Jets' pocket protection on this game winning drive has been beyond abysmal. -

Haha. McCown should have just ended the game with an INT....dude dropped the ball falling to the ground. Jets STILL alive! -

Always fun to cheer against the Patriots...but in this case it means I am rooting for the Jets. I will need a shower after this. -

YES! My market just switched to NE vs. Jets...wanted to see this game. Dan Fouts just declared the infamous end zone play "One of the worst calls I've ever seen!" -

All joking aside, the Miami games will not be pushovers this year. Depends on how the matchup plays out this year with this year's rosters. -

Well the Dolphins are about to beat Atlanta in Atlanta. I'm thinking this diminishes our victory there. -
Watching Texas A&M vs. FL What the hell is going on with the Gators' uniforms!? They are terrible.

Going to enjoy some Bourbon today
Fadingpain replied to Fan in Chicago's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Some of the better single barrel bourbons are good, but I'm a hard core single malt scotch guy. Obviously the 2 are related though, and if you like one, you'll probably like the other. -
Harvey Weinstein (and others) accused of sexual harrasement

Keep in mind that taking advice from DC Tom on how to pick up a woman is like learning healthy living habits from Keith Richards. -
Tyrod Taylor held to higher standard bc he's black ?
Fadingpain replied to Game Manager's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
A discussion involving race as it relates to criticism of QB performance in the NFL is not a sports topic, it is unproductive, uninteresting, and ultimately, a waste of time. -
Sabres & NHL 2017-18 - Entry Draft on June 22
Fadingpain replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Murray got the hook prematurely in my opinion, but if he had to be sacrificed in order to get rid of Disco Dan, so be it. I never liked the deal with Winnipeg; I also didn't like the way Murray took a huge pool of defensive talent and quickly dealt it all out the door save Risto and McCabe. But his deal to get ROR was great. I know it doesn't look it this year so far b/c ROR has been a no-show, but he is the best player on the team when he is going and should be a solid contributor here for a long time to come. Then you have the 1st round draft pick burned up on Lehner. I like him OK, but he is nothing that is replaced, and we paid a big price for him. That is another fair knock on Murray: he was an over-spender. So yes, Murray had his flaws but I liked his direct approach and I think, given time, he could have pulled things together. It was somewhat unfair to dump him when he was dumped. We have 10 new bodies in the lineup this year; that is a huge amount of turnover and upheaval to have to absorb. Plus they are all learning a new way of doing things. They seem shell shocked at the moment but I think they will grow out of this slump...though it will take time. I think we are already on the outside trying to look in in terms of the playoffs, even if there is still nearly a full season to go. I have said for a long time that we need to try and keep moving, acquiring big pieces for the team. We still don't have enough yet. -
The Gugny Chronicles: Part 1, My Life As A !@#$
Fadingpain replied to 145B4IDIE's topic in Off the Wall Archives
It was during one of Gugny's infamous parties that Mead107 entered his life. The party was in celebration of Kaleeb al Tarawana, or the Feast of the Sacred Camel. Mead107 was lucky enough to find himself inside the party due to a contact he had made at work. He paid the man $500 to bring him along as his guest. Now that Mead107 finally had his chance, he was not going to screw it up. He hesitantly approached Gugny, who was wearing nothing more than a ruby red silk bathrobe, more open than closed, and a pair of black flip flops. Mead107 could see Gugny's chest inside the bathrobe, lightly glazed with sweat. Mead107 immediately knew he had to have some of that. So Mead107 walked up to Gugny and said "I've heard of your work. I'm a huge fan. I'm curious. How much do you charge?" Gugny responded: "More than someone like you can afford" and he turned his back and walked over to the bar to freshen up his gin and tonic. Mead107 thought to himself, now, more than ever, "I have to have that man." -
I no! For all intensive purposes, their always dumber then they think they are.

The Gugny Chronicles: Part 1, My Life As A !@#$
Fadingpain replied to 145B4IDIE's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I met a man in Prague last summer who said he used to work in the foreign service. He had spent some time in and around Saudi Arabia. He told me that Gugny is infamous in some circles as being, perhaps, the most prolific male prostitute in the history of Dubai, and maybe even in all of the United Arab Emirates. He used to have a penthouse suite in the Burj Khalifa, just above the home of crown prince Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum. His MDMA fueled late night parties were well known, and anyone who was anyone wanted to be on the guest list. For a few years, Gugny rode a fine line between excessive but controlled partying and being totally self-destructive. This is where an old client of his, Mead107, enters the story. -
Harvey Weinstein (and others) accused of sexual harrasement
Fadingpain replied to RaoulDuke79's topic in Off the Wall
One thing is for certain: Harvey Weinstein is f-ing ugly. Did anyone catch the female news reporter from Long Island who was on CNN the other night with Anderson Cooper? She told her story involving HW... I'm happy to repeat the story if anyone is interested. -
Why is Dareus not in on passing downs?
Fadingpain replied to Dragonborn10's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
From a technical Xs and Os perspective, I think the reason Dareus is not in on passing downs is that usually, by then, his fat ass is so winded he has trouble lifting the Gatorade bottle to his mouth, let alone rush the passer. Makes sense really. -
Not just crap threads! Multiple, redundant, duplicative crap threads. I would advocate that, but it violates my rule of never hiring anyone named Jamarcus.

I was just about to start a "Bring in Tim Tebow" thread in the spirit of the bye week dearth of quality topics at this forum... But I didn't have the heart to afflict the community with another one of those. Though now that I think about it, we seem due for one!

What do the Bills do to fix this offense?
Fadingpain replied to Do The Reich Thing's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Best way to fix Offense: Draft a QB next year and then wait a while as he matures and develops into a player who can consistently produce points in the NFL. We don't have a QB who can do that now. -
Which games will you watch on the Bye week?
Fadingpain replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No games in my area interest me, including Sunday night... I would watch the Jets game if it was on in my market; always fun to cheer against NE and hope Brady suffers a catastrophic injury. As it is I will be doing some kayaking. -

Glad alcohol is everywhere but pot remains illegal in most of the country. Alcohol is a hell of a drug!
