  1. Listening to Sal C. on GR-550 in the audio vault now. He said he spoke with McD today and pointed out all the logistical difficulties you reference, pointing out to the coach that it is unlikely we would see Benjamin on Thursday night. Sal said McD responded by saying "Yeah I understand all that, but if he can help us and we think he can go, he'll go" or words to that effect. My gut (and nothing else!) says he will play on Thursday, in an obviously limited capacity.
  2. Really? Will be interesting to see if that is correct. Don't forget, his coach in Carolina is his coach now. Might help with the fast transition. McD: "kelvin, remember how we used to do x, that's what we call Y now" Give him a few plays to master and use him in special situations where his skills are maximized. Maybe red zone stuff, etc.
  3. BOTTOM LINE A monster-sized, intimidating, big-play receiver, Benjamin has the overall strength, length and wide catching radius that will demand extra coverage be rolled his way. Showed continual improvement, is still growing into the position, and possesses the traits to become a legitimate No. 1 receiver. A very intriguing mismatch weapon with ascending talent. -Nolan Nawrocki 4.61 40 yard combine time but size makes that not important. Gronk was 4.68..."slow" speed doesn't seem to have exactly hampered his career.
  4. That's the sort of thing I had in mind! Doesn't need to be complicated. Maybe Tyrod can draw a route on his chest in the huddle with his back turned to the D. Whatever works!
  5. How fast can Benjamin get a copy of the playbook and learn a few plays!? I want this cowboy catching the ball on Thursday night. Hopefully they keep it really simple for Tyrod and Benjamin, at least at first.
  6. Just catching wind of this. This is the kind of guy we have needed forever. A huge body who can go up and out-power defenders, even if he is well covered, and catch the ball. The dude is a monster, like 6"5" and 245 lbs!? Now we have to make sure Tyrod learns to have faith in him and throw the ball to him, even if 3 DBs are all around him. Move is obviously predicated on strong belief within organization that we will make playoffs this year. Without a doubt, it is ON LIKE A MOFO!
  7. I'm always confused when situations like we have in N. Korea come along. Can anyone explain why someone doesn't just shoot Kim Jong-Un in the head, throw his body in the Taedong River, and then go have lunch? That's how many criminal Roman emperors met their fate, more or less, when those around them got fed up with their bull ****. No need for wars, nuclear warheads, millions of deaths, and so on.
  8. I'd love to know your educational level, and income level. I suspect both are low.
  9. That dude deserves his own thread here. I have actually watched a lot of interviews/videos with this guy on Youtube, because I find him fascinating and highly entertaining. He is 100% bat **** crazy, but still a smart person and his stories are at least as interesting as the more traditional sort of fiction people read in novels. The fact that he intermingles his fiction with some truth and reality, and sells the whole thing as "fact" makes it work even more as a fictional entertainment product in my opinion. He suffers from some weird sort of disorder. Dude runs a small industry funded by conspiracy nuts and the UFO/Alien visitation crowd.
  10. This woman seems like a space cadet. That aside, I hate this BS in America with "speeding" and pulling people over for dumb **** like this. It's just a form of revenue for these municipalities who are otherwise probably going broke. I'd rather just pay a "bull **** fee" per year and be left alone with this "12 MPH over the speed limit" ****... Only in America.
  11. A thread dedicated to terrorist attacks around the world? How many pages can a thread go on this forum? It's at 220 now and it's going to go a lot longer than that.
  12. I don't buy the idea that people across America are anti-NFL b/c of the anthem protest situation. Not at all. And if is true, now, wait a few weeks. It will be quickly forgotten. America's national attention span is about 15 minutes.
  13. The Republicans will turn on Trump when the time to do so is right. It's a balancing act. We are already seeing some of them turn now. The political will to impeach will be available, once the dirt is fully out.
  14. This is the million dollar takeaway from this news, from a Bills perspective. San Fran could be picking #1 overall, and would be smart to trade that away if they think they now have their QB. They should sell their pick to someone who values it more greatly than SF does. Wonder what it would take to buy that pick from them. A LOT....THAT IS FOR SURE!
  15. Is there a track record of the team wearing stuff that is exclusive to the team? I don't really follow that sort of thing with NFL teams. If there is, maybe it won't be available after all.
  16. The melee that developed around Tate on that play was so wild, chaotic, and out of control that the play by play guy on TV initially said "And a fight breaks out!" or something like that...interpreting what he was seeing as some team vs. team, out of bounds, after the whistle, fight ! And it did kind of look like that. James Lofton quickly corrected him saying it was just his own team congratulating him. It reminds me of the Superbowl teams where everyone was 1 family and we had so many character guys running around pumping the team up all the time, regardless if they played O or D. I can picture Darryl Talley shouting motivation at offensive players for sure. Or Bruce would go on the field to congratulate an offensive player after a big play, etc.
  17. Looking at the "Nike Apparel" section at the Bills store accessible through their website, I would say this new gray old school hoody is right in line with a bunch of other stuff currently available from Nike. Give it a few days; I bet it shows up on the website; highly doubt it was manufactured as a custom one-off for the coach or team members only.
  18. The throwback hoody that is oh-so-desireable:
  19. LOL. Nothing says "Rain, turn me into a human wet, cold, sponge!" quite like an old fashioned hooded sweatshirt. Modern water wicking materials be damned! McD rocks it old school!
  20. Where I stand as of today, 10/30/17: The team is more solid and playing fundamentally good football than at any time I can remember during the drought. This is coming at a time when the AFC is soft and beatable. New England is still mighty strong, but also as bad as they have looked in years. If we continue to do what we are doing and as I look at the schedule, the idea of qualifying for the playoffs is a real possibility. When did we last say that in November? Or on the eve of November? It's one game at a time here on out and keep your fingers crossed. We could easily be looking at the drought ending this year. I can't imagine the excitement of the week leading up to a playoff game...
  21. This is all great news. They will go after the little fish first because they will lead to Trump later. I'm sure for now, the official policy of the White House will be to: 1) Admit nothing 2) Deny everything 3) Make counter-accusations. The more aggressively they deny any wrongdoing or involvement with wrongdoers, the more guilty you know they are. This is a great day. It is a matter of months, now, until the scumbag named Trump is gone.
  22. Yep, that time is coming. When it gets here, it'll never go back. Start buying pot stock now!
