Depends what you are watching and in what league. Lots of games don't have extra time (overtime) or penalty kicks. All games have added injury time, but 5 minutes of that is a lot. I love how a soccer game is entertainment for a reasonable amount of time, and I know what that amount of time is going into it. And the top clubs spend more on players than anyone in the NFL does, for sure, and yet they manage to get by with zero commercials during game play. What a miracle. Leave it to the USA to F the whole thing up in the pursuit of cash. Greed is our national pastime.

The games are so disjointed with commercials they become difficult to watch. The officiating is horrible and slows the games down further, the announcing is horrendous, and there are not enough good QBs to go around and make me say "this should be a good matchup, I think I'll watch!" if it is just a neutral game involving 2 teams other than the Bills. I couldn't care less about the CTE or national anthem stuff. It's the other stuff, which is nothing new... The overall package of what is entailed in watching an NFL game has enough negatives that I'd rather do something else, depending on the matchup. It has to be what I think will be a really good game to tune in. ALSO! The games are way, way too long now. I shouldn't have to lose an entire day to enjoy 2 games...but that is a 1pm to 7:30pm affair these days. Soccer really is the beautiful game. 90 minute games, no matter what, and no commercials! NFL games can almost be annoying to watch in comparison.

Yes, I think we are going to come back to reality. Another big factor in our wins is the turnover ratio...and that is not sustainable. Not at that level anyway. We still have some wins left in us on this schedule, but not a ton. I still say one week at a time. This New Orleans game is going to be tough and a real challenge.

I agree about the 4-12 "crowd" thing. I had us winning 6 games, as did most all observers of football prior to the season who are not Bills fans. So far we've won 5 and a number of our wins, we now know, came against teams having bad seasons. Atlanta and Denver both for example are not the same achievements we thought at the time. One game at a time.
