I watch the Bills game, the best "other" matchup of the day on Sunday, if it appeals to me, and then almost always Sunday Night Football. Then during the week MNF and TNF if the games are good. All of this, other than the Bills, pre-recorded on DVR of course so I can FF through all pre-game BS, in-game BS, commercials, half time, and everything else. There is a lot more "other stuff" than actual football in a 3 hour 15 minute football game.

Prostitution arrests: South Texas style

Working from left to right: Yes, with some cleaning up; definitely not; absolutely yes; yes. I think Griselda on the left could look a lot better with a small amount of work. -
How in the world did you shatter the windshield with your elbow? Those things are strong as hell.

Yes, all day long the answer is yes, if someone is willing to dance with us. I've been saying this for weeks now, as have others. My price is a 3rd, or better, if possible. We actually have some leverage with Philly so that should help.

This is the portion of the ESPN website where you can watch streaming content on ESPN. They used to call it "ESPN3" but I think they don't anymore. You can watch live streaming if any is going on at the moment, or past content in the "Schedule & Replays" section. http://www.espn.com/watch/

How does a QB deficient team pass on Mahomes/Watson
Fadingpain replied to Rebel101's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You have to remember that all Bills fans, basically, are in some stage of the grieving process. We all love the team and want them to succeed badly. No one doubts that. Yet they have had very little success over their entire history, and they have been average to terrible for the entire 21st century. We're all grieving. A lot of fans have not made it out of the first stage: denial. It's what allows us to survive a loss in our lives. Most of this message board is in denial, IMO. There was a sizable group here, for example, that defended Doug Whaley up until the end of his tenure in Buffalo, despite him being a thoroughly terrible GM. A sizable contingent here refused to see that EJ Manuel is/was horrible. Many still think Tyrod is a good QB and we were dumb to get rid of him. It's all denial. The latest manifestation of this around here is Josh Allen. Posters are starting threads declaring him to be a star on the rise. Many have already declared him our next great franchise QB, after Jim Kelly. In reality, he has always been a high risk, long shot project, and he is still exhibiting all the traits that made him that; he has shown nothing to suggest he'll be a good QB in the NFL. At least not yet. And yet folks are convinced he's "the one". It's denial. -
As a long time Red Sox fan, their first championship since 1918, in 2004, was a pretty mind blowing experience. It has altered my fandom of the Red Sox forever. I'm much more relaxed about the whole thing now, and feel no pressure for them to do anything again the rest of my life. In this way, I know that if the Bills ever could win a Super Bowl, it would alter my relationship with the team. It may sound weird, but I'll remain a much more interested, intense fan of the team as long as they do NOT win a championship. Once that happens, it's different and losing becomes "OK" b/c you know they did it at least once, and no one will ever take that away from them. When it comes to N.American team sports, I only follow Red Sox, Sabres, and Bills. Sabres and Bills have never won a championship, so I have never really had that year when it all came together for me.

Players that need replaced in 2019 for the Bills to succeed?
Fadingpain replied to PIZ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
5 pages of blah blah. Has anyone mentioned QB yet? We need one if we are going to be successful in 2019. No position on the team comes close to translating to wins and losses like the QB, and we don't have one. -

But saw lots of value in Nate Peterman and Josh Allen. They'll pay for that colossal error in judgment with their jobs, after next season. -
Mccoy and Ivory could both be out Monday?
Fadingpain replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Just noticed that the NFL network is running a crawler at the bottom of the screen, mentioning that the Patriots are averaging more points per each half of their games than we are averaging in our entire games. We are averaging 11.6 points per game. NE is averaging 17.1 points in first half and 13.4 in second half. Great. -
Fill In The Blank Word Game: Patriots vs. Bills
Fadingpain replied to Fadingpain's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I was thinking more like: A) HIT B) Speared him in the face mask C) the referee pick up a few of Brady's teeth -
The prison is for men, for those wondering. I find this story extremely romantic. Even when dealing with prison, iron bars, and armed guards, love finds a way.

Ever notice that the NE roster is never the same for very long? Yet it's always a FINISHED PRODUCT. Weird, huh? -

Hey way, wait a minute. Kenny Davis and Thurman are both going to be at this game, right? Suit 'em up! -

Your seats sound almost perfect but still... I can't believe anyone and his 2 buddies would pay a combined $750 to watch the "entertainment" that is going to be out there Monday night. Patriots fans?

Let's have some fun and pretend Van Miller is still calling the Bills game on Monday Night Football. Fill in the following three blanks in an imaginary Van Miller play call from the upcoming game against New England. Van Miller: "So it's third and nine from the Patriots' 42 yard line. Brady, back to pass. Looking...looking,...and Brady is ____(A)____! I think that was Jerry Hughes who got him back at the 31 yard line! Brady was looking down field when Hughes ____(B)____! And this place is bedlam! It's going nuts! Brady seems to clearly be injured. You won't believe it, but I think I just saw ______(C)_____."

I heard tremendous things about the FIRST game. I bought it. Started playing. Quickly grew to dislike it. I found it difficult to explore the world with clearly defined missions or goals. I ended up wandering around a lot not really knowing what to do in an odd way. I also found combat or shoot-outs to be ridiculously difficult. As in it was always 10 against 1 and the computer controlled bad guys were way too good, and I would quickly die every time I tried to start something. What am I missing about this game? I'd love to give it a second try b/c the idea is great.

Every football stadium in the NFL is filled with idiots, drunks, and drunken idiots on game day. I would advise anyone to exercise caution unless you are looking for some type of physical altercation. -

We may be forced to light up the night sky in Orchard Park with an aerial attack not seen since the Kelly/Reed/Lofton era. -
Knocking Brady out of the game with injury resulting from a Bills hit would definitely make a loss otherwise fairly enjoyable or at least satisfying. Especially if it lasts long enough to screw up the Patriots' season. I forgot about that. That would be fantastic too, but the revenge hit would have to be at least as brutal as Gronk's, and preferably more so. That would be pretty cool too! We have such creative thinkers on this board! Keep the thoughts flowing!
