  1. No, it doesn't matter, and it hasn't mattered for years and years. The Miami rivalry is now the New England rivalry, if you can call that a rivalry at all. I remember both sides of the Miami rivalry...years of being their whipping boy followed by us getting the better of them during the Kelly/Thomas/Bruce/Reed years. There were a LOT of important games played between those 2 teams during the Superbowl years, in both places but mostly in Buffalo, and we always seemed to win when it mattered...after a decade of getting our asses handed to us. That stuff has been gone probably since the retirements of Marino and Kelly.
  2. I agree with the OP's take on most things. He seems to have the team well prepared, he seems to have created a good atmosphere within the team, he is very conservative, and he is a bad in-game manager. That is what I have learned about him. The #1 way he could improve immediately this offseason would be to learn about probabilities and statistics in terms of when to do what on a football field. He has made a bunch of mistakes in that area this year.
  3. Maybe Dennison thought the play was so outlandishly crazy that no one would suspect it and it would therefore succeed brilliantly. Or maybe the guy just sucks.
  4. I'd love to see Peterman play the final game but Tyrod will play for sure, so there is not much to discuss.
  5. You understand absolutely nothing of the OP's post or what he is discussing. You can't argue with math. You are on the wrong side of this. At some point you'll figure that out. Or maybe you won't. You'll still be wrong.
  6. It was still the wrong call, despite winning. As a caller on the post-game show said: "You can walk blindfolded across Sheridan Drive (LOL) and safely make it to the other side without anything touching you. That doesn't make it the smart thing to do." To the OP: a lot of posters at this site struggle with 5th grade grammar/spelling and see no distinction (apparently) between "their", "there" and "they're". They are not going to understand why you are right or why McDummy is wrong when he goes with his gut or whatever he does go with when he makes these decisions. He should never have punted in the Indy game and he should NOT have attempted the 50 yard FG today. He doesn't get it, not because of his faith, but because he's not that bright and comes from a traditional football background, where most guys do not get it or rely on probability theory in their coaching philosophy.
  7. His faith scares the hell out of me, but I don't think it relates to his pay calling. He is definitely NOT looking at statistical data/probabilities in making his decisions, but I don't think that's a matter of faith; that's a matter of him being a traditional football guy. What makes your post all the more scary is that Pegula is another hardcore religious kind of guy. If they are planning some sort of Christian tower of power, and picking players based on how well they fit into that, we are screwed.
  8. And you didn't see it until today!? You have a great eye for football.
  9. If only there were another 4 or 5 threads dedicated to this precise topic.
  10. Would you prefer him to say we suck, have sucked for 17 years, and the drought is now going to go to 18?
  11. Any time these cowards want to hit Gronk, I'm ready. The clock is ticking.
  12. YES. This game is over. NOW is the right time for pay back. It was not earlier.
  13. If only he had some good WRs, we'd all see that he deserved those Pro Bowl spots afterall.
  14. That may be true, but it was, and remains, the wrong call. Just b/c a bunch of idiots here thought it was right doesn't make it right.
  15. The wheels on the Bills Express are starting to fall off.
  16. Huge energy swing and swell of emotion for NE all stemming back to Tyrod's 15 yard sack. Hugely important play in this game.
  17. He's Oh-for regarding hugely important decisions late in games this year where the difference between being smart and dumb can be the difference between winning and losing.
  18. Maybe McDipshit will reference his faith in the post game presser. That'll be great.
  19. McDummy is definitely not bright; he's proved that to my satisfaction this year.
  20. If it comes down to a 2 minute drill, put in Peterman. He will at least give us a shot. If he throws an INT, who cares.
