  1. I would be interested in him as a coach or offensive coordinator type. I am really impressed by his intelligence as a color analyst. Not just football IQ, though that seems high but his general intelligence seems high. His experience as a good QB on a good team very recently would give him an interesting relationship with whatever new QB we bring in. Maybe we can hire him as "QB whisperer". I think he'd be super good at that.
  2. The poor woman comes from a rather weak gene pool. There are very few teachers I would refuse sex with, b/c the entire concept is beyond perfect....but this one gets a "NO!" vote for me.
  3. I was living in Rochester for about a year when they got (at least at that time) record snowfall. I want to say it was February 1999. We got 24" of snow in 24 hours. That was the most snow I've seen, and I grew up in Buffalo!
  4. Favorite city in the USA that is not LA or NYC? Chicago.
  5. I've been waiting for a while for "plays with cell phone every 20 seconds all day long" to be considered an official disorder as well. It is. It's a form of addiction similar to smoking and not healthy.
  6. I'm told there will be a number of flaming folding tables set up complete with diving platforms in purple lot 7G.
  7. It's weird, b/c the overall feel of the situation is that we have only a small chance of making the playoffs, and probably will not make the playoffs. I don't get that, b/c we can very easily beat the Dolphins in Miami, and the Bengals can very easily beat a greatly over-hyped Baltimore team! Flacco has really regressed and is having a poor year; his accuracy and constancy are both crap. I can totally see the Bengals winning and us beating the Fish. If that happens, we are in, right?! Not sure why that is viewed as "never going to happen." Baltimore is not that good.
  8. Yeah, but isn't he implying he has electronic access to an entire computer system or at least all email communications from one or more people? If you have access to that, you have access to anything that is moved within those channels, which might be close to everything.
  9. You mean "Who's". I picked Baker Mayfield, not b/c he is my first pick, but b/c I was trying to pick a realistic option. We are not going to have our pick of all the QBs, so I don't see the point in stating which you prefer the most. A better poll would be "Which QB do you like best among QBs we can actually get."
  10. Thanks for your 2 cents. I am a PS guy, though I have nothing against the X Box stuff and I know each system has its own strengths and weaknesses. To be honest, I should buy both and I know many guys do! Yes, the COD PS4 is basically the basic machine plus the game for free. At Best Buy at least, the base machine in black is the same price ($299.99) but without the game. You'd have to go buy that separately. I assume that is like $59.99 right now as it is new. So I suppose I either keep this or return for the new Xbox which is kind of like the PS5 that does not exist, at least as I understand it.
  11. HELP! For Xmas I received the special edition COD: WWII Playstation 4. This features the PS4 machine in ugly green camouflage colors and the game itself in a bundled package. Should I keep this? I would prefer the machine in something simple like black or silver or whatever it is supposed to come in... And is the game as good as I hope it is? I am a big fan of the WWII first person shooter games, and have most of the COD or MOH games from past PS consoles. What does anyone think? Keep this or return it for a different machine/game package? EDIT: This is the 1 TB console with 1080P resolution, not the "PRO" console with 2160 resolution and the ability to play 4K ultra HD DVDs. EDIT: It looks like the ugly camouflage edition I got is the basic machine at the basic machine price, plus a freebie of the COD:WW2 game throw in for free; that might be enough to keep it, despite it's ugly ass. Doesn't make sense to exchange for the black box and then have to buy the game on top of the $300 price. Still appreciate any observations about all this.
  12. May I suggest moving to SE FL? Yesterday on Christmas day my SO and I did a beach walk and it was really quite crowded. Sunshine, lovely weather, bikinis and hot flesh all over the place. On Christmas Eve our neighborhood had a block party of sorts, out in the street, with everyone drinking, kids playing, in summertime weather...very nice indeed. Yesterday a neighborhood kid was out riding around on her new bike she got for Xmas with a pack of hood kids playing around her... Life in a climate where it is cold, more or less, half the year, sucks.
  13. Anyone know if he is a vocal sort of player or more quiet in the locker room? He could be valuable just in terms of standing up, speaking loudly, and teaching folks how a winning franchise operates and getting after losers who are not operating on that level. I love the idea of filling our roster with winners from winning organizations.
  14. You had the very good sense to use a photograph of Lt. Col. Bill Kilgore as your avatar, so you have to be a really decent person. Otherwise I would lay into you mercilessly for piling so much stupid and wrong into three sentences. Tyrod is very mediocre, he is easily the weakest link on this team, and our team will be improved greatly and immediately when his ass is kicked to the curb. That is coming this off-season. When we get a real QB around here, it will smell like victory. Someday this drought is gonna end.
  15. I want to go back in time and find the first person who picked up on this "going dark" language and strangle him with my bare hands so the rest of world won't know to parrot that crap, ad infinitum. As for DD and this thread, I am not really reading it or following it very well, but from what I can gather, it seems highly entertaining and better than traditional TSW fare. Good work DD! I particularly like the posters who have seemingly read every word of it, 118 pages strong, and continually chime in only to say "DD is full of ****" and they believe none of it. Do these people have nothing better to do with their time? Are they that bored? Find a new hobby or interest and challenge yourself! Get away from a computer for a while, FFS! Go out into the real world and make a new friend! Do something!
  16. You watch teams with a functioning QB and you quickly realize just how limited we are at that position. If this group can achieve that record, wait until we have a QB who can deliver a consistently good passing attack. We'll be instant perennial playoff contenders.
  17. Your crystal ball could be cracked and covered in an inch of dust, without you knowing who our opponents next season are, and it would still read 7-9/8-8/9-7. That's where a lot of the league lives every year. Then you have the 3 or 4 standout good teams, and the 3 of 4 Cleveland type teams.
  18. There are any number of games this season where having a competent QB would have turned a loss into a win. Every time I watch a good team this time of year with competent QB play, it becomes quickly obvious how handicapped we are as a team. If we can achieve 8-8 or 9--7 operating without a passing attack most of the time, imagine how quickly we can turn into a playoff contender with a real QB! The future looks bright.
  19. He should be investigated, charged, tried, and found guilty. Punishment should be a public nude flogging at 50 yard line during halftime, 3 weeks in a row, with cat of nine tails with barbed wire tips. That might do wonders for clearing up his "judgment" making these calls. Mike Pereira rips NFL head of officials for overturning Bills TD against Patriots http://ftw.usatoday.com/2017/12/nfl-buffalo-bills-kelvin-benjamin-review-touchdown-new-england-patriots-mike-pereira-alberto-riveron
  20. No, didn't think we would win. The game was very similar to many NCAA football games... The underdog gives the big, top ranked program a hell of a good fight, for the first half. In the second, the big program slowly takes over, the underdog wears out, and the score ends up lopsided, despite it being a close contest for a long time. I've seen about 10 million college football games follow that script. It's basically what happened to us in Foxboro. Eventually, over the course of 4 quarters, a team like New England is going to distance itself from us and find a way to win. We used to do that to many teams ourselves, during the Superbowl years. Remember how good that felt!?
  21. What on earth do you mean? We have a real QB here already! Tyrod is really good, he's just misunderstood by the fans. I've read here lots of times from many posters! It must be true!
  22. Merry Christmas. That is a nice Christmas tree ornament!
  23. I agree that is more or less right, but I think an addition to the OL is as important as improving the pass rush. The rest beyond that is gravy.
  24. Well here is a few: 2001: we could have had Drew Brees instead of Nate Clements. 2002: Ed Reed instead of Mike Williams 2003: Anquan Boldin instead of Willis McGahee 2005: Justin Tuck or Richie Incognito instead of Roscoe Parrish 2006: Antonio Cromartie or Nick Mangold instead of Donte Whitner 2007: Darrelle Revis instead of Marshawn Lynch 2008: Joe Flacco instead of Leodis McKelvin 2009: Clay Matthews instead of Aaron Maybin 2010: Earl Thomas or Jason Pierre-Paul or Mike Iupati or instead of CJ Spiller 2011: AJ Green or Julius Jones or JJ Watt instead of Marcell Dareus 2012: Dont'a Hightower instead of Stephon Gilmore 2014: Khalil Mack or Odell Beckham, Jr. or Teddy Bridgewater instead of Sammy Watkins
  25. Someone should compile a "Dream team" roster of what could have been the Bills, had we drafted better, say, since the turn of the new century. I realize that would be with the benefit of hindsight and many other NFL teams routinely miss on players as well, b/c no one has the benefit of 20/20 hindsight vision on draft day....but this could be a really fun exercise anyway.
