  1. Think you're maybe biased? I think Bills fans like to **** on Cleveland b/c it distracts them from our own failures. They are kind of the only franchise lower than us on the food chain. Well I guess there is one difference; Cleveland has won 4 NFL championships to our zero.
  2. Never been to either campus. Nice kick there despite high snap. 10-6; close game but kind of the opposite of the Rose Bowl. Low scoring affair.
  3. PS: The girls above wearing the cowboy hats are actually FSU fans I think! I was going to delete but then thought: "Why bother?" In the interest of being fair and unbiased:
  4. You just know he is somehow getting new Mercedes and Porsches to his top recruits or something like that. How he keeps it under the radar is beyond me. Waiting for that program to be blown up with all manner of NCAA rules infractions is like a ticking time bomb. At least that is my theory. It probably helps tremendously that every last person living in Alabama would sooner spit on the baby Jesus than blow the whistle on the 'Bama football program.
  5. I think there is definitely something to this. They seem to grow attractive women down there in Alabama. I am happy to offer my time as part of a research project if anyone has any ideas.
  6. The two female reporters interviewing the HCs at halftime... From the sublime to the ridiculous!
  7. My favorite post, by a mile, is the one that says: "Fire that stupid F*** before he has a chance to retire!!!!!! Holy F***" Well I'm guessing this Pees fellow is the Defensive Coordinator and he doesn't seem to be very popular among the fan base!
  8. No, not close to crying...but it felt very good. I actually watched the dude catch the ball, evade tacklers, and run into the end zone kind of in a stunned silence for a moment as the play sunk in. Like my brain couldn't process what I was watching. It happened quickly and was totally unexpected. Caught me off guard. After a few seconds and realizing what happened, I felt, more than anything, incredible joy.
  9. Clemson dude sprinkling magic grass on field (WTF?); camera shows hot chick in crowd wearing Alabama jersey.... I think I am switching allegiance to 'Bama!
  10. Just getting into this game now after the instant classic in Pasadena. Pulling for Clemson just b/c Alabama wins too much though I prefer the 'Bama uniforms!
  11. Really? You think he's like 5'11" ???? That's not 6'1" !!! There must have been an excellent halftime speech in the GA locker room!!
  12. Hey there's a good stop for Georgia! Wo, 2nd half couldn't have started better for Bulldogs.
  13. I always found the Rose Bowl deceptively large. It just doesn't look like it holds the number of people it does hold!
  14. Yep they're like safety glasses more than optical glasses meant to correct his vision.
  15. Listed at 6'1" but maybe he's a touch smaller than that. Height is only an issue with a QB if it's an issue. It's not an issue if it's not. Doesn't seem to bother Drew Brees but does seem to bother Tyrod.
  16. You're absolutely right of course! I totally forgot about that. He also wore a ton of extra pads all over the place as I recall. OJ was the opposite; he hardly wore anything and said he wanted to feel if a tackler was touching him, etc., so he deliberately didn't wear hip pads and stuff like that.
  17. When I first saw him, I didn't realize he was the kicker! #98 is a funny number for a kicker!
  18. Halftime adjustments!? I'm hoping just b/c I'd like to see a good, close game. Don't really care who wins. Interesting to keep an eye on Mayfield though. PS: How about #98 for Georgia wearing nerd glasses inside his helmet; don't recall seeing that on a football player before.
  19. Anyone know where the visiting OC would sit at Gillette Stadium? Is it possible it would be in the row of windows immediately adjacent to the red seats in this photo? Like the guy sitting in the highest row of red seats could reach through the window and touch the OC in a certain set of windows. Or would the OC be up above that in a booth in that double level of windows that has no seats immediately in front of it? Looking at this photo I would say it's possible someone could be out in the red seats and strangely staring at what happens inside the booth, depending on where it was exactly. I assume the stadium is built symmetrically so it is the same on the other side of the field.
  20. I don't think it sounds ridiculous at all. I think the details of what exactly was going on have not been well explained, but The Wiz is explaining it probably the way it played out, if it played out at all. I have no doubt that the Patriots do this sort of thing or at least try to do this sort of thing. Remember a year or 2 ago? Chris Collinsworth on SNF said that EVERYONE he knows in the game has told him of communications problems playing in Foxboro at one time or another. Chris never says a bad word about anyone or anything and is always artificially positive...and yet he said this with a tone like "who are we kidding, something sleazy is going on up there in Foxboro and everyone knows it!"
  21. I don't recall seeing it, but has anyone pointed out that the score in our game against Miami is the same score as the Music City Miracle? 22-16 in both games. So the drought begins when we lose a playoff game 22-16, and it ends when we win a game 22-16. And 22-16 is kind of a weird score, too! Cue the Twilight Zone theme.
