  1. Tyrod cannot quickly and decisively find a man, decide to throw to him, and throw to him, to save his own life. Dan Marino used to do all that about 10,000 times per game, all in about .3 second.
  2. Stupid premise. Why pick between chocolate and vanilla when you can have a scoop of each!? Both need to be improved upon for next year, and I think both will be.
  3. And 1 of those compliments of Nate Peterman against the Saints.
  4. Probably not. Shady being dinged up wasn't why we lost today. He had like 27 touches for @ 125 all purpose yards. It's not like he didn't make a solid contribution!
  5. Keep in mind, that 3 TD statistic includes 1 TD that was actually thrown by Nathan Peterman against the New Orleans Saints. So in 7 games against playoff caliber opponents, the Tyrod-led offense managed 2 TDs. TOTAL. That's slightly less than .3 TDs per game. Think of it this way, the Tyrod-led offense would have to improve 300% (and actually a bit more) to average 1 TD PER GAME against playoff opponents. Hey, let's not bring Bill Cowher into this if we don't have to, OK?
  6. If they are thinking they are going to fire Dennison, they will fire him fast, won't they? Gives him the most courtesy and best chance to catch on with another team as other teams fill out their staffs. If so, we should know if he's going pretty soon. Like tomorrow. YES? NO?
  7. My lasting memory of Tyrod will be him dropped back in the pocket, looking downfield, the pass protection clock ticking...and just nothing happening. Tyrod has real trouble "seeing" a picture downfield that triggers his brain to tell him it's time to throw the ball. He just can't do it regularly enough.
  8. Finding a QB who can move the offense down field, consistently, is the only addition this team needs to improve dramatically. The rest would be nice, but is really just gravy.
  9. Thought of that parallel the moment Tyrod left the game. Probably his last appearance in a Bills uniform and leaving like Kelly did, with a head injury.
  10. Tyrod has no trade value. I don't think he will be retained even as a bridge QB.
  11. There is no point in engaging in any analysis of this game beyond the fact that the offense could only muster 3 points in 60 minutes of football. You aren't going to win when you do that.
  12. I have been saying for a couple years now that Tyrod can take you so far but he can't win you a playoff game. Today we saw, literally, the playoff game he can't win. If you find yourself today with a taste for more, for a continued existence in the playoff, for a shot at upsetting the NE in Foxboro...you must find a QB who is better than Tyrod. The team knows all this and they are going to shake up the QB position this off-season. You can bank on that. The future looks bright from where I am sitting right now.
  13. Man, we can't even enjoy the Patriots game, cheering for Tennessee. They're going to get killed.
  14. ON THE BRIGHT SIDE: If we can accomplish this much playing without a QB, wait until we get one! The future is bright!
  15. The ball just didn't to where it need to go FAST ENOUGH. Arm strength an issue there.
  16. LOL I was screaming "RUN RUN RUN RUN" as loud as I could just now
  17. This is gonna be a BIG DELAY. COULD HELP US. ENERGY LEVEL in stadium going to get low when the game resumes. Peterman has time to mentally gear up.
