  1. Getting this guy straight up makes zero sense, unless he is going to be our QB.
  2. The whole thing was not a "news piece" talking about wings in Buffalo. It was an advertising exercise whored out by ESPN and paid for by Applebees. Get over it! We already know the NFL, ESPN, and Applebees all suck.
  3. And watch how our w/l record doesn't change in a meaningful way. We need a QB. Until we have one, none of it matters.
  4. If the reports of several teams working to get him but the Bills standing firm refusing to deal are true.... ...the people running this team are f-ing idiots. We seem to have leverage and multiple bidders to help garner a good price, but we don't move him? LOL
  5. The fact that we have zero, and I mean ZERO, offense probably does impact opposing team's offensive strategy. But sure our D is good! With a very middling, average offense we could have beaten the Pats last night. As it is, we are historically bad.
  6. I would probably view the NFL as I do hockey in the playoffs, with the Sabres eliminated. I.E., just try to enjoy and hope for a good game and may the best team win. If for some reason a specific team spoke to me in a natural, organic way, and I grew to like them, I might adopt them as my own. Who knows.
  7. Fixed it! And the more alcohol involved, the better the party. To the OP: I saw shots like that on the TV broadcast and know what you mean. At one point they focused on a woman in the crowd decked out in Bills stuff and she was seemingly cheering a big play by the Patriots; don't remember exactly what it was....I thought that was odd. PS: If you are hitting people at games or almost doing that, you're a f-ing meathead. Get help.
  8. The facts speak for themselves. Of course, the Bills (and Sabres to a slightly lesser degree) are among the worst franchises in N. American team sports. They have been around for a combined century, more or less, with no championships to show for it. Yes, I know the Bills had a couple in the old AFL; I'm talking about the merged NFL and the NHL.
  9. You talking about this? And for those of you who want to tell me that it's really McD calling the shots - fine. This will put him on notice. He has no business making personnel decisions and screw the Pegulas for their nonsensical org chart - they want to piss away their $1B business, I guess that's their right. They are clueless. If they understood accountability, they'd tell McDermott he's going to be judged based upon Juan Castillo and David Culley and the rest of the bogus offensive coaching staff that McD hired. But they probably won't. You say he has "no business making personnel decisions" but the organization is set up with him as the boss. My initial post stands.
  10. Here is some wisdom! Pay attention to this post, Bills fans! We have to pray that Terry Pegula orders them to draft another QB this year, otherwise it won't happen.
  11. Beane is McDermott's errand boy. If you don't like the look of the organization, it's McDermott you need to fire, not Beane.
  12. The fear with Peterman revolves around the INTs he likes to throw. But he is averaging 1.5 per game to Anderson's 2 per game!
  13. This is laughable. We don't need Manziel. We need Tim Tebow!
  14. Why is everything black or white around here? Daboll seems terrible to me, a real problem. So is our talent level! So are our quarterbacks! There's plenty of suck to go around.
  15. It's posted at WGR-550 now. The cryer is Sean. "All my friends, they teased me. I don't wanna be the guy that gets teased no more. I just wanna win. It's not fair, it's not fair for all us that just want to raise hell." He then swears and the call is terminated. LOL. Starts around 6:20 into the show. http://www.wgr550.com/media/audio-channel/10-29-overtime-show
  16. ...with the current management still employed. He could easily end up in Buffalo one way or another down the road. Tyrod is good enough to linger around the league forever in various roles. When you say "better" do you mean stuff like Allen putting up 74, 82, and 84 yards passing, per game, in half his games so far this year? Or are you referencing Anderson's 2 INTs and 4.5 points per game in his 2 starts? Maybe you mean Nate Peterman's career 44.3% completion percentage? Where is all this "better" QB play you speak of, and how can we get some of it?
  17. He's worse; averaging more INTs per game than Peterman. Offense moves nowhere with Anderson in the game. Peterman is actually the most proficient passer on the roster, including Allen. When he isn't throwing the ball to the other team.
  18. That's hilarious. His play does not rise to the level of NFL starting caliber. His offense is averaging a whopping 4.5 points per game and he is throwing 2 INTs per game on average. Peterman is averaging 1.5 INTs per game for his career. It's actually better! When Allen was healthy, he was lost, a deer in the headlights. We have no QB on this team right now and it's why we are 2-6 and headed for a bottom 3 finish. As long as Allen remains out, I think it is almost fair to say that a win is impossible. When he returns, wins will remain unlikely. Add it all up and we are going to land a really sweet draft pick next year...and we won't take a QB with it!
  19. For some reason there is an assumption made here by your average kool aid drinking Bills fan that the organization is dealing with a series of hardships that were thrown at them as some sort of force majeure. Like a hurricane that comes out of nowhere and is unforeseeable and unpreventable. And so the Bills are just in "disaster recovery" mode this year but it will get better down the road. As you point out, Elite, this is total horse *****. A number of factors impacting the team negatively this year are an outcome of this team's decisions, the most important of which is the disaster situation at QB. And that is 100% the end result of a series of Bills' decisions at that position going back a couple of years. It is McD's show here; Beane is his errand boy. And McD doesn't know what he's doing. The proof is what we see on the field. @ fifth worst team in the league right now with more losses almost guaranteed if Allen remains out, and hardly assured if he returns. Still on target for the bottom 3 finish I predicted after Week 1.
  20. You can build an all pro offensive line but if our QB play is no better than what we have received this year, our record will be the same. Offensive tackle has very little impact on wins and losses.
  21. Look on the bright side: last week we scored 5 points. Tonight we scored 6. Improvement!
  22. What makes you say that? It hasn't been fixed in over 2 decades.
  23. You mean McDermott and Beane? I don't think there's any chance of them going this year or even during this upcoming off-season, but with Pegula, it can all appear to be going very well until the moment he cans your ass.
