  1. That's not necessarily true. One of the top picking teams could have told us a while ago "Go get us 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 and report back when you have it." We acquire those things and report back = deal being done well before Draft Day. Perhaps.
  2. They would likely not have made the moves they have made so far if the plan was to "Stop at 12." It won't happen. More is coming, and it's all a part of a coordinated plan of attack. Refreshing isn't it? We're looking at the first competent regime at OBD since Polian.
  3. I agree. I hope they move way up and draft one of the big names, and then start him in year 1. Fill the team in around that and as the team builds, so does the QB's experience. Expect to be good maybe 2 or 3 years later if you are going to be realistic.
  4. Hughes has been good for the Bills, but if he needs to go to fit into the emerging Plan For the Future, so be it. He probably won't be a contributor when the QB we are going to take arrives anyway.
  5. It smacks entirely of a salary cap type maneuver.
  6. No they don't, but I have heard of them growing on trees, rarely.
  7. You have to define "success" for the conversation to have any meaning. If measured by whether or not we had a chance to win the Superbowl, no, Tyrod was never successful. We never even had a chance to win a playoff game with him, let alone a Superbowl. Some of us were saying that for the entirety of his stay in Buffalo. His ceiling is what it is and lucking backwards into a wildcard berth for a playoff loss is about as far as Tyrod is going to take you. No way that can be considered "successful".
  8. Brady's decision to retire will entirely come from within himself. His family will have nothing to do with it.
  9. He's on the wall for his football accomplishments, which have nothing to do with him being a murderer. He's a top 3 all-time Buffalo Bill, whether you think he's a nice guy or not.
  10. We are near the edge of me leaving this place until a day or 2 before the draft. This **** is getting out of control.
  11. Pretty much. I was just thinking about starting a thread kicking around ideas for dinner tonight. What are you having?
  12. And WNY has a BMW dealer! Mere coincidence? My God, he's coming here isn't he?
  13. I'm right there with you on this one. Anyone can have a bad day and throw 5 Ints in a half. We are all only human. Nate is gonna lead this team to the promised land; it helps that he has a special relationship with the Lord.
  14. Two immediate thoughts on this: 1) Thank God he's gone; hopefully we don't have to see any more Tyrod threads. 2) I can't believe they got a high 3rd round pick for him! I thought his value was close to zero on the trade market. Well done!
  15. They are dismantling the Seattle teams that went to Superbowls. That party is over.
  16. Don't you have a family member or trusted friend in WNY to buy the ticket through? Don't be stupid. If you want the tickets you can get them one way or the other.
  17. USA soccer will be something to be proud about when our best athletes actually play the sport. Until then, we are just sort of wasting time.
  18. Jackson is a bust waiting to happen. The idiots running NFL teams always get sucked in when it comes to guys like this. They salivate over his "physical gifts" and forget that the guy can't play QB. Oh, he's a certified moron too. Dumb as dirt dumb.
  19. These football guys are such meatheads. It would be helpful if they just tried to have a normal conversation and see if the player's IQ is shockingly low, low, or surprisingly slightly below average. That's useful info.
  20. I guess Tipster hasn't seen enough over the last couple decades to convince him the QB position is important.
  21. He is fundamentally a track guy who dabbles in football. As you say, F him.
