  1. A thread of this nature comes up every so often like clockwork. I don't understand the hate for the Jills. They were doing something they loved doing and did it on a volunteer basis, basically. What's so bad about that?
  2. I propose we turn this thread into a dedication to E.H.'s breasts. Here is my offering:
  3. I think he's a major bust just waiting to happen. He exhibits everything you want in a college QB, and almost nothing you want in an NFL QB. He is a Mike Vick 2.0...who overall was not the sort of guy I would want in the NFL.
  4. Was watching a bunch of Rosen-related content on the NFL channel yesterday. Interviews with him in street clothes and stuff like that. I don't like this guy, as an individual, or his general look! LOL. I really don't. He doesn't look the part. I think he has more chance to bust than some of the others in the draft, even if many have him as the top prospect in the draft or suggest he is the most accurate (which I'm a big fan of). I just don't like this guy.
  5. Steve Tasker recently made this exact point on the radio, in general terms. He suggested all of the big name QB draftees will have success, or not success, based not only what they do, but the team who takes them and the situation they find themselves in. It's a double edged sword. His point was that this makes it all the harder to accurately judge who is going to be successful. Lamar Jackson is dumber than dirt and I want nothing to do with him; he would be a total bust in Buffalo, if not everywhere. Don't believe it. BB is way too intelligent to like either of those guys generally, and at the NFL level specifically.
  6. Are you suggesting, for example, that Cam Newton does? Chad's problem is not his intelligence, it's his ability to play football.
  7. The application for the USA is not to go nationwide, but regional. The Atlantic corridor from DC to Boston with stops in Philly and NYC is the obvious location. The problem is coming up with the money to buy the land that the tracks go on, if you can't adapt the train to existing runs.
  8. Watch at 1:24 as this sucker zips under the overpass. God forbid we would have something like this in America.
  9. I see your cruise ship fender bender and raise you this:
  10. How in God's name did you maintain concentration enough to actually learn anything? I picture sitting in a high school classroom surrounded by all that young trim, most of it going braless, and well....that's what life is all about. Likewise. She can show that rack anywhere she chooses to, if you ask me.
  11. I don't disagree that the "Dilly Dilly" thing is probably considered a wildly successful campaign so far. I've seen the commercials 1,000 times and can picture them in my mind. Here's the funny part: like much catchy advertising, I don't remember what product is being advertised, which makes you wonder how effective it actually is. I know it's beer, but not which brand.
  12. Dude has a nice scar running across his face, like someone put a knife in his mouth and cut his cheeks open left to right. He may have done that to himself. Call me crazy, but this guy doesn't seem all there. I'll make a bold prediction: this guy is not done making other people's lives miserable.
  13. This is a great idea. If it doesn't work, get Brady! If that falls through, get Drew Brees!
  14. I thought you were going to suggest something alternative, like kidnapping.
  15. The simple fact is Clay is quite malleable and can be molded into a variety of shapes to fit the team's needs. Some say he's a little soft now, but with time he will firm up nicely into a rock hard player.
  16. Yeah, but why should ex-football players be making business/broadcasting decisions? Shouldn't that be left to business people and broadcasters? Fact is tons of football fans get off on uniforms, colors, alternate jerseys, and spend a ton of money on that crap all the time.
  17. Not really. He is an expert and speaking a lot while saying nothing, and no one is less tuned into the inner workings of the team than Sal, despite being around those guys 24/7. He is too much fan, not enough reporter.
  18. This dude needs a new name with more vowels in the right places. I really hope we draft him so we can see how many different ways his name is spelled in posts here. And then, as NO PLACE TO HYDE suggests, we are going to have to have a naming competition for this guy with votes. We'll go with the best anyone can come up with.
  19. Everything coming from everywhere for the last few months has indicated that the Browns are 100% NOT willing to sell the No. 1 Overall pick.
  20. This show might as well be called "National Radio live from Gestapo Headquarters in Berlin." Having said that, I like Steve Tasker and getting rid of Jones is an instant upgrade. Steve is God awful at his color analyst job during pre-season, but he is actually much better spoken/more interesting in a more relaxed atmosphere. I think he will be a lot more interesting in this type of venue. If he contributes "real world" takes from the perspective of an ex-high end player and tons of stories about the old days with the Bills in the way Rob Ray does about hockey and the Sabres for WGR-550, this show could actually be worth listening to. I may give it a try for a few days to see what is up. I had previously boycotted the old Murphy show.
  21. Tripe can be delicious if you know how to properly prepare it. Ever had any?
  22. Oh they're on the same page all right. But in two different paragraphs separated by about 25 lines! Whaley is whispering in Beane's ear and God knows what Beane is doing relative to McD's intentions. For all we know there is a civil war going on over there right now, and it all hinges around the QB we take in this year's draft. What? There's a difference?
  23. Not only is this theory possible and plausible, I would say it's probable! Beane has never seemed to like McDermott and it wouldn't surprise me at all that he would force a QB on the HC. Forcing Incognito into retirement is obviously part of the overall plot. In fact, I've heard that Whaley has been whispering in Beane's ear, functioning as some type of counsel, ex-GM to new GM. Lord only knows what Whaley is telling him to do!
