And even if there was, we have seen some quarterbacks that didn't have the draft day appeal of those 2 actually achieve more in the league. Russell Wilson comes to mind, among others. I do agree there is definitely no consensus #1. In fact, every expert you hear seems to have a different idea of the pecking order. Some experts believe Allen will go #1. Others believe Allen is a major work project and nowhere close to playing at the NFL level, others believe he will never be good at the NFL level. Opinions are highly varied this year.

I'm pretty sure every draft/scouting expert I have heard/read commenting on the QB class this year (that's about 10 million guys) has pointed out that each of the top QB prospects is flawed. But the flaws are varied and it's a case of picking the combo of good/bad that appeals to you most, given availability when you pick.

I agree that John Locke's character, and the acting of the guy who played him, were one of the real highlights of LOST. I saw all the episodes from all seasons. Excellent character filled with complexity, it was easy to like him and want him to succeed, and he was intelligent.

The whole "gun problem" in America is honestly more of a "mental health management" problem. Or maybe a little of both; seems like we need to do a much better job helping people with mental health issues, and then the gun industry needs to be on board with that as well so the wrong people have a hell of a hard time getting a gun. Of course, you can always circumvent the law and just buy one from a criminal, but the number of mentally ill people who are going to pull that off might be much lower, which would help.

Rosen has a body made for the UCLA math team, not the NFL. The idea of him as Bills QB scares the hell out of me. I see this guy being broken in half sooner rather than later.

It's interesting to look at the names knowing what we know now. With that 9th pick we could have had: Earl Thomas Mike Iupati Jason Pierre Paul Maurkice Pouncey Jerry Hughes Or some guy the Patriots ended up taking in the second round named Rob Gronkowski. Bills took Torell Troup with the immediately preceding pick!
