I recall an older Godzilla movie where Godzilla was fighting a robot version of himself. Anyone know what I'm talking about? There was also one where he was fighting some sort of thing called, as I recall, "Jet Jaguar." Love the old Godzilla movies, and that weird, distinctive sound he made. Has anyone ever read what they used for that sound? It defies description.

Apparently Roseanne will be Joe Rogan's guest on his podcast tomorrow...Friday June 1. Doesn't seem like anyone watched the Rogan clip I posted earlier. He said she called him as they are friends and said she was drunk over Memorial Day weekend and on Ambien and is basically distancing herself from the content of the Tweet due to being under the influence. She also told Joe she thought the woman she poked fun at was Jewish (like Roseanne) and didn't even know she is African American.

Does anyone know of a good flight combat game (from any era) made for a game console? I mean a game where you are looking out of the cockpit of a fighter plane and can fly upside down, do loops, move any way you want and have to shoot down other airplanes. There are a ton of good games like this for PC, but I've never really run into a good one for consoles.

My only input would be that if you end up close to one end zone (131 getting a bit close for my liking) AND you are sitting way down low close to field level, you lose a ton of perspective when the ball is way down at the other end of the field. The flip side of that, however, is that when the ball is down by your seats, the views can be pretty incredible down low close to the action. I once sat row 1 in the corner of the end zone. When 1 team was at that end in a red zone situation, it was incredible. When the ball crossed the 50 yard line and went the other way, the game might as well have been played in a different zip code. So if you are going to go way down low, try to move close to mid field if you can!

Marrone and Gailey were reasonably good. The rest was more or less garbage.

Geezer Butler said he learned many years go, when he first listened to Led Zeppelin, that metal is not about volume, it's about attitude. In that vein, one of the "heaviest" songs you'll ever hear is something like Dazed and Confused. Most if Iron Maiden's songs sound a certain way and it's a sound I don't particularly like. One thing they never caught onto is that if the entire song is loud and fast, it ceases to be loud or fast...it just becomes monotonous noise. A painter will tell you that the only way they can create the appearance of bright light on a canvas is to have the rest of the canvas be really dark. Wish Maiden would put more dynamics into their music. I have seen some of their concerts on TV however, and they put on a good show! Huge crowds and a huge following and everyone in attendance seems to be having the time of their lives. I also love how the singer doubles up as the pilot for the band while they are on tour.

Just starting Game 2 now on the DVR. They really went full "Game of Thrones" in the pre-game show tonight! LOL I'm surprised they are showing as much of this stuff as they are, instead of commercials.

I have noticed store brand glass cleaner is lousy compared to actual "Windex" and so I always get Windex. The knockoff stuff smears and smudges. Another is Dove bars of soap; store brand stuff is not right. Yeah, I have noticed the store brand stuff just doesn't taste human enough.

I have actually never played a video game "online" and don't even really know how to do that or what it would entail. That doesn't appeal to me at all. Some of the most entertaining moments in a game like Fallout are when you are wandering around alone and just checking out the landscape or an interesting area you have wandered into. The artwork in these games is just beautiful and they are total eye candy.

Along with "Fan man" that is another fantastically weird piece of boxing history. I remember that one well too! I think there are a lot of old/great fights on Youtube in their entirety. I highly recommend anything with the great Mexicans from recent years. I personally love the Mexican fighters b/c they are true warriors and don't know what "quit" means. Erik Morales, Marco Antonio Barrera, Julio Cesar Chavez, and my favorite: Juan Manuel Marquez. Now we have Canelo Alvarez too, who is a hell of a good boxer. Watch out for his fights. The Morales/Barrera fight are positively epic... Same for Marquez vs. Manny Pacquiao. Marquez's KO of Manny in their 4th fight is one of the most devastating KOs I've ever seen. Marquez's performance in their first fight remains one of the greatest performances I've ever seen. Manny caught Juan Manuel not once, not twice, but THREE TIMES scoring 3 knockdowns in the FIRST ROUND... Marquez then re-grouped, survived to the bell, and adjusted his fighting style... He went on to beat the crap out of Manny while taking some amazing hits himself, and fought his way back to a draw... An incredible fight if you haven't seen it. It has to be on Youtube.
