  1. From Hour 2 of Schopp and Bulldog today. Excellent conversation with football analytics guru Warren Sharp. Worth a listen. https://wgr550.radio.com/media/audio-channel/07-12-schopp-bulldog-hour-2
  2. Yes, that seems highly plausible.
  3. Actually, I would suggest at best this whole thing is a mess. At worst, it is a serious crime resulting in jail time for multiple parties and a destroyed NFL career.
  4. Back when "The Sopranos" was current and a huge TV success, show creator David Chase was doing some type of promo interview on HBO. He was discussing how the show tries to demonstrate that Tony Soprano struggles to resolve conflict through any means other than violence. It was an interesting conversation at the time. I was thinking of that when this thread was created and this story from The Philadelphia Inquirer broke. McCoy is like Tony, a mafioso. Seems about right.
  5. There are a ton that would suffice, usually surrounding the Bills picking a wash out when we could have had a superstar or franchise QB instead. A few examples: 2008: We took Leodis McKelvin 11th, could have taken Joe Flacco instead. 2009: we took Aaron Maybin 11th; could have had Clay Matthews. 2011: We took Fat Boy Dareus; could have had JJ Watt, AJ Green, Julio Jones, Mike Pouncey, etc... There are massive, glaring errors made in every draft, which is why those who suggest amateurs should leave draft picking to the "professionals" are laughable. It's also why you don't trade UP, you trade DOWN....quantity of picks trumps quality of picks, b/c these guys have no idea who will be good, great, or bust.
  6. I have to say, I agree with just about everything referenced in the OP. His pecking order for the division, having NE as winner, and our record are all about right. On top of that, all evidence suggests Allen will be a bust, until he defies the odds and proves otherwise. Do you people really dislike Cowherd, or do you just dislike anyone who suggests the Bills are not a perfect organization destined to be undefeated in the coming year?
  7. Have the game on right now and I agree with you. Both QBs in this game were abysmal. That's part of it, but only part of it. He has many flaws; his biggest is an absolute reluctance to throw the football unless he sees a target wide open first.
  8. Have you seen Season 1 of "Bron/Broen" yet? The first season was good, if you don't mind reading subtitles. I saw this years ago on HBO I believe. One of the most entertaining and riveting documentaries I have ever seen. It was like it could not have been better. The "Paradise Lost" trilogy of documentaries about the "West Memphis Three" is incredible. Particularly the first one is among the most riveting things I've ever seen. If you haven't seen these yet but enjoy documentaries, order it up ASAP! Just fantastic viewing.
  9. Just saw a TV commercial for this, with that psycho Giorgio Tsoukalos among other guests, including Sean Astin (!) and David Duchovny. Who's going? http://www.thealiencon.com
  10. This is a really good (or bad) one too. Joe D. in a Browns uniform is just wrong on so many levels.
  11. If all posters here adopted a sensible, "let's wait and see", non-confrontational position on all issues in all threads, there would be very little left of this forum! If he was after jewelry in her possession, why would he chose a break in time, post-eviction? She and her possessions, including jewelry, would be gone. In that scenario, you'd want to hit the house before she was evicted, right?
  12. Just finished watching Croatia vs. England. Another not great game, but not bad either. After Croatia scored their first goal, England slumped and the game became one sided. I called a goal for Croatia in extra time too. I have France beating Croatia on Sunday. I am just hoping for a good game.
  13. Not surprised she was bitten. She looks pretty tasty to me.
  14. I don't think I know any above ground rappers.
  15. Can't poke fun at others for making a bonehead decision for signing Dareus without acknowledging the Bills doing it too. Be consistent Yolo.
  16. Don't confuse violence against animals with violence against people. The public and the NFL will tolerate the former, not that latter.
  17. Not sure what you are talking about, but the more I think about this whole thing, the more I realize Shady is Hitler and half this board defending him is the Gestapo!
  18. Probably the first time she saw him wear the "Skipper" cap.
  19. You forgot the part about the Bills burning a No. 3 overall on him first.
  20. There are about 4 of them going at the moment, as is the custom of this forum.
  21. I've seen that sort of thing in about 2 dozen crimes shows/movies...but I agree in this instance it seems highly far fetched.
  22. Guilty of what? Guilty of being a scumbag? Absolutely! The pile of evidence in support of that assertion is a mile high. Guilty of very specific crimes relating to this house break in and battery? That we don't know. Yet. Neither; I'm just pointing out the way it is for folks who don't seem to get it. You don't have to believe me. Wait a while.
  23. I guess if you had to rank them on a pure scumbag scale, it would be: 1) OJ 2 and 3 (tie) Lynch and McCoy 4) Henry I mean OJ is a vicious, cold blooded murderer. Lynch and McCoy are common thugs. Henry just had trouble making child support payments to the mothers of like 10 of his kids, and liked to abuse substances from time to time. LOL.
  24. Is it a surprise that a guy like McCoy would attempt to resolve conflict through violence? Around here, they call it "Occam's Shaver" [sic] folks! If it smells like a duck and quacks like a duck, it's a duck. If it seems obvious Shady was stupid enough to pay thugs to commit crimes in furtherance of fetching personal belongings from a woman, and they committed additional crimes in so doing, he probably did it. And assuming the appropriate people do their jobs correctly, Shady is 1) gone from the league, 2) facing tons of civil liability, and 3) maybe about to do some jail time. Much less likely that the victim punched herself in the face a few dozen times and faked the whole thing.
