Thursday! We have to make it to Thursday.

Down here we have a high end movie theatre with super comfy seats that are like sofas, waiters that come to your seats, and ticket prices that are high enough that undesirables stay away. I only go to the theater maybe twice a year, so I don't care what the ticket prices are. It's perfect.

I have seen various permutations of this floating around the internet for a decade now. You know, all the stuff we like in WNY and any WNYer would identify with.

The three biggest things I am looking forward to seeing are our quarterbacks. All 3 of them. Everything else this year is an obscure footnote in comparison.

I'll tell you another funny story. A few weeks before the draft, on some boring day with no NFL news to speak of, some "expert" said the hot rumor was that the Cleveland Browns were going to take a guy named Josh Allen #1 overall.... The thread quickly lit up with "Of course they are, they are the Browns" jokes. A few weeks later, we drafted Josh Allen, and then it suddenly became a wise choice.

This serves as a further reminder to never visit Pensacola.

I agree that this season in particular means nothing as long as it ends with Allen consistently performing in a manner which suggests he has a strong chance to become a franchise QB, even if he makes a lot of rookie mistakes along the way. If he looks like EJ Manuel Part II, we will not only have a horrible record this year but we will also be right back to where we were, pre-Tyrod. And that's not a good place to be.

It is because of the "improved D" that he is giving us 3 wins. It could be worse.

Fairly certain we are not playing "San Diego" in Week 2.

I predict Daboll uses 11 players but only 1 QB on offense. They'll run some and pass some.

Used to love Simpsons in the day. Haven't seen it in years. I also love "Family Guy" and "King of the Hill" is also quite good. These 3 shows are similar IMO. If you like 1 of them, you'll like all of them.

Just remember, we don't have a starting QB until one of the 3 on the roster proves otherwise. Tough to predict wins as a result right now.
