  1. Yes, Mayfield probably is better than Tyrod already. You can't overstate how hesitant Tyrod is to throw the football. That's a problem for a guy trying to play QB in the NFL.
  2. For Bills fans here too young to really remember Thurman Thomas, you have to realize the guy was one of the greatest offensive dual-threat weapons in NFL history. You can't overstate how effective he was at moving the ball downfield and into the end zone. He's not easily replaced. PS: I still can't believe he shared a backfield with Barry Sanders at Oklahoma State. Good God!
  3. The video clip was only 2:19 and it seems to cut off prematurely with Baldinger in mid-sentence. Does anyone know where to find the full video? If someone can post it that would be great. The original source for this material is not Twitter, is it?
  4. I thought I'd make a new topic for this so it doesn't get buried in the other threads talking about problems with WGR. I just visited a website I normally visited, but haven't in a while, and noticed the website looked all weird; like I was looking at code for the construction of the page and not the page itself. Combined with my problems at WGR, I thought maybe I need to update my web browser. I am on an Apple MacBook using Safari. Turns out, Apple ceased doing updates of Safari so as to push you into their new "High Siera" or whatever it is operating system. So I finally bit the bullet and downloaded the new operating system. Once it was installed, I went to that website and it looked normal again! I then went to WGR550.com and clicked "listen live" and sure enough, it worked just fine (after the initial ad hung up for a while but I finally got past that!) So anyway, I'm back to being able to listen to WGR550 live. if you are listening on a laptop or desktop, try upgrading your operating system and or internet browser. I think my antiquated version of Safari was simply no longer compatible with current demands in website design. The new WGR software for live streaming pushed my system over the edge. Maybe someone else will find this useful.
  5. Finally looked at some of the list; that site is so annoying I stopped after 1 click. Does anyone know what was voted #1 ? I disagree with some of the rankings, but I was surprised and relieved to see "Shane" way down low. A lot of critics consider that the #1 best western, which I never agreed with.
  6. I have always considered Kyle undersized for what he is often asked to do. He is susceptible to being moved where he doesn't want to go.
  7. It's also the world where Josh Allen is clearly a proven high quality franchise QB b/c he made some nice throws, at times, in a pre-season game against the second and third units of a team that didn't win in 2017.
  8. Honestly, I think they have confused him with Alain Ducasse and think he is going to prepare the staff a world class meal at some point.
  9. PS3 is much better. I also like Xbox One quite a bit.
  10. I think they will start Allen. This may look like it has randomly, organically evolved over time including AJ's injury, but I suspect this was all drawn up on the chalk board a couple months ago. Things are progressing according to a defined plan, so that Allen can be named the starter and start Week 1 in Baltimore. I said it would play out that way a few months ago.
  11. My concern is with Edmunds. The biggest blemish on his scouting report was that he is easily mentally fooled, over-pursues, jumps at the wrong gap, etc.... And so far after 2 games we have seen a lot of that ourselves. I think he has a way to go before his mental game catches up to his physical athleticism, which is clearly fantastic.
  12. When it comes purely to arm strength, it's like this: Mahomes: Josh Allen:
  13. Every team at this time of year has 1 or 2 guys that the team loves, but simply do not fit. The numbers push them out, and the teams are really upset to lose such players. Does anyone know if there are any OL floating around the league who fit this mold? I am hoping we could pick up someone's cut. Our line seems bad enough that such a player might actually start for us.
  14. The most obvious answer is that the Bills did not value Mahomes to the level that you do. Another possibility is that McD is not making the decisions. He isn't the boss. Pegula is.
  15. It's actually very easy. If they say something praising the Bills, or with positive implications for the Bills, they know what they are doing. If they say something negative or insult the Bills, they are total idiots.
  16. You know they are paid by the Bills, and function as an arm of their PR department, right?
  17. Not that I wish injury upon AJ, but this is a beneficial development. It will force the staff to give a close look at Allen, maybe even accelerate their intended plans. He should start next week, no reason not to. Plus we don't have to split QB time among 3 guys now.
  18. Was not Steve Tasker. Jay Crawford did play by play and Tim Couch did color.
  19. What about the impact he has on people around him and the coaches maybe wanting to see that?
  20. Their desperate for a franchise QB. Haven't had one in quite some time.
  21. Genuinely made me laugh out loud. I'm still laughing!
  22. Hey, $19,000,000 in career NFL earnings only takes you so far these days. Agent's commission, income tax, the next thing you know, it's all gone.
  23. Just exceptional pursuit from NEAL! Great speed, and he got him!
