  1. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/03/17/breaking-down-the-mario-williams-deal/ This is where the breakdown of it being a two-year deal comes from. And it's correct.
  2. Just please answer me this: if Marines are such strong people and so proud, then why does a letter get under their skin so much? Are you sensitive or are you strong? You can't be both. So I'm assuming you're not a Christian. Or maybe you are some sort of strange branch of Christian that sees yourself and your comrades as being above God? (For the record, I'm an atheist, so I'm not offended that this gentlemen put himself and other marines above Christianity's God, I'm just pointing out the potential contradiction).
  3. So basically... this guy has self-esteem issues. Or entitlement issues. Or something like that. Definitely a Marine.
  4. Good stuff. Thanks. (Didn't mean to be such a dick. Just been a really rough day.)
  5. So you're expecting a rookie QB to have full control of audibles in his first two snaps of live professional ball ever? Okay. How many superbowls do you expect him to win this year?
  6. Go ahead and say what you will about EJ not looking good, but he's only made one pass this entire scrimmage. Sure, that pass had the WORST POSSIBLE result, but it's still one throw. So don't act like you're doing any scouting here. He made a bad pass and then hasn't touched the field since. Unless you're digging really deep to dissect his handoffs.
  7. EJ just threw a pick six early on.
  8. This thread is the epitome of what a pathetic franchise does to its fans. Mario Williams is a fantastic player. One of the best at his position. Just because he's not the skinny, lanky speed rusher that we've grown to love people want him out of here already? Please, study the game. After his early injury issues Mario was great for us. And he will be going forward. He'll play out most of if not all of this deal. Also, what does it say if we just cut a player two years after giving him a huge deal? Terrible negotiating tactic. THINK.
  9. Only in the minds of the people who fall in love with a system and don't know much about the player. Manziel is a talent. But he doesn't have much direction.
  10. http://www.apimages.com/search?st=ts&toItem=24&orderBy=Newest&title=Buffalo+Bills+2013+Football+Headshots&eventid=4667398 The headshots this year were all taken with the half collar...
  11. Googled it and found the stash haha http://www.apimages.com/search?st=ts&toItem=24&orderBy=Newest&title=Buffalo+Bills+2013+Football+Headshots&eventid=4667398
  12. Blatant troll attempt...
  13. Does anybody know when BuffaloBills.com normally updates the roster with new headshots for players? I always like seeing these, it's kind of like them being OFFICIALLY Bills. But last year they got super lazy and never updated the headshots for the rookies or even Mario Williams. It seems like more and more teams are leaning towards either not putting up the new headshots that they take every year, or they put up photoshops for headshots (the Jets rookies currently have them photoshopped into Jets unis as the player headshots). There are a few teams that already have the new player headshots up on their websites (the Falcons are one of them). I know this is kind of a lame thing to wonder about, but I just like seeing it.
  14. These expectations are far too lofty. I'd say the record is irrelevant, nearly. 5-11 or 6-10 could be a success if he plays consistently and limits mistakes. I'll take a 6-10/7-9 season with 20+ TDs (combined running and passing), less than 13 INTs and at least 2750 yards.
  15. I didn't read any of this, but I just wanted to let you know that the only reason I used the "cracks" analogy is because you used it. You said Vontaze created the cracks himself, which is exactly what Da'Rick did.
  16. Woods. Without a doubt. I have high hopes for Rogers, but let's not forget who Woods is.
  17. Yes, he slipped through the cracks. And a LOT of people called on Burfict, too. I'm assuming you don't know Da'Rick's story?
  18. I think of it this way: EVERYBODY wants Manuel to take the job. NOBODY wants Kolb to win the job. Therefore, Kolb has to be near perfect while Manuel has to be nearly pathetic.
  19. So, yes? Because you SAID no, but you just described what a "yes" answer would be.
  20. I care. I want the team to look good. And I know that players care. A jersey isn't going to be the difference between leaving and staying or coming here, but many players have said that they take the jerseys/colors into consideration. And I also realize that the marketing department that does things like jersey designs and whatnot have nothing to do with winning and losing, so they can tweak the jerseys all they want to get the right look.
  21. On the other side: see P. Manning. Lobs up ducks all the time and they're almost always perfectly catchable.
  22. For the record, my feelings on this season changed recently. I was in the mindset that "we'll probably be terrible, but at least we'll have a shot at Jadeveon Clowney (I really think he's going to be one of the best players in the NFL EARLY). But then I realized that there's too much talent on this team to set the sights on another high pick. I want and expect mild success (somewhere between 7-9 and 9-7). Of course, if Kevin Kolb starts for a large chunk of the season then I'll be okay with being bad enough to land Clowney.
  23. I'm more impressed by the throw at 2:35.
  24. Let's just call him Erik.
