You're not serious, right?

Based on what? He's a solid rotational guy... He cracked the rotation consistently on a loaded Seattle front, but you don't expect him to make it here?

Re: Who are the next 11 players to be cut?
SBUffalo replied to JTO's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Only person on this list I might disagree with is Snow. While I do think Brad Smith gets cut eventually, I don't know if it will be yet. He may be in the same boat as Lindell tho: A veteran that isn't a roster lock who would be better served by being released early in the preseason. -
How many WRs can a team carry?
SBUffalo replied to quinnearlysghost88's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Most teams end up caring AT LEAST five. -
EVERYBODY should think Stevie is a lock. If anybody thinks otherwise then they just don't know football. Or maybe anything, for that matter. Roster LOCKS (not just vets): EJ Manuel, CJ Spiller, Stevie Johnson, Robert Woods, Marquise Goodwin, Scott Chandler, Eric Wood, Kraig Urbik, Cordy Glenn, Mario Williams, Alan Branch, Manny Lawson, Jerry Hughes, Alex Carrington, Marcell Dareus, Kyle Williams, Kiko Alonso, Nigel Bradham, Leodis McKelvin, Stephon Gilmore, Da'Norris Searcy, Aaron Williams, Duke Williams, Garrison Sanborn. That's just 24 players. There are at least 10 other guys that are in the "90% category" but I still left some off.

Skip Bayless on EJ's 2-minute drive
SBUffalo replied to BillnutinHouston's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
haha... no -
Give me Stevie, Woods, Goodwin, Graham, Rogers, Easley. Then Dickerson, but he's a utility player that can play FB/TE/WR so he can count in a few places.

Dolphins/Jags Report(with fancy pics I made myself)
SBUffalo replied to OCinBuffalo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yea, maybe a dumpoff was the best option. But it's the preseason. Maybe Tannehill was just thinking about taking a bigshot. He knows he has the job, so maybe he just wanted to try to make a big play. Not that big of a deal. I've seen flashes out of Tannehill that make me believe he'll be solid. -

Depends. Do you like number 4? Are you okay with risking his career for a preseason first down? 5 should've got the ball if anyone. -

If he throws it to four at just about any point in this, four gets absolutely jacked up. Then look at the down and distance. And there's the two reasons four didn't get the ball. Also, I'd love to have a quarterback that makes the perfect read on EVERY play. -
I think it was going to take Kevin Kolb looking like a whole new QB for him to win the job. The days of stopgap starters to get your young guns ready are DEAD.
-
The biggest game of his career? Quit it. It was week six in the college football season. Not even in his top ten most important games.
-
There's a lot of different stuff done to rookies. I'm sure he's been getting something. I'm hoping this isn't the case, but I wouldn't be surprised if coaches instruct the team to limit the way they mess with rookie QBs in a QB competition. Less distractions.

I think the NFC playoffs is going to make this year amazing. Even though I have the Packers missing it, I think ATL, SF and SEA alone will make it entertaining.

Manny Lawson is by no means a big FA signing. He's a rotational player. I like him for Pettine's defense and am glad we signed him, but he's not a big FA signing.
-
Well it's not like he's a young guy out there. He's not going to be any better than he has been before. He might make a few more plays if given the opportunity by a new DC, but he's nothing to get your hopes up over. With that said, last year was his best NFL year ever. So maybe he'll put up better numbers even while on the downside of his career.

You claim that I haven't been in the military so I wouldn't know about it. I countered by saying that you haven't been in the NFL, so you wouldn't know about it. To make it easier for you: the argument that the lack of firsthand experience renders a person unable to comment/generate though on the subject is old and tired. It's not a true sentiment, especially not in today's world. To be clear: I have respect for every member of the military that doesn't put themselves on a pedestal. Being in the military doesn't automatically make you a better person. Being a better person while in the military makes you a better person. There are PLENTY of military members who are far better people than me, but there are also plenty of everyday office workers who are better than some members of the military. It's not like being in the military automatically catapults you to the top of the social class. Act a little more humble, and show some respect yourself... That's how you earn respect. -
Proof racial battles aren't "history" yet
SBUffalo replied to SBUffalo's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Seconded. -
I think, at this point, it's just that he is what he is and nothing more. He's a rotational player who will make a play here or there. Nothing anybody really gets excited over or depressed that he's still around. Good guy.

You're on an NFL message board. Have you played in the NFL? If not, you wouldn't understand and shouldn't comment on the NFL. -
Make Your Bold PreSeason Prediction Here.
SBUffalo replied to boyst's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Since this thread is supposed to be about predictions from the PRESEASON, not regular season like many of you are going with: Jairus Byrd returns before the second preseason game.
