  1. New Orleans gets control of the game by 13 late and can run down the clock. They decide to keep throwing. Drew Brees turns the ball over and it's returned for a touchdown. Then the Bills get the onside kick and Robert Woods catches the game winning TD with less than 15 seconds on the clock.
  2. I hope I can come back in five years and say I'm wrong on EJ. I just don't think he's the answer, but I'm pinning all my hope on him.
  3. According to WGR, nobody on the team likes Mario because he hadn't had a big game until last week's game and he gets preferential treatment.
  4. Being discussed here: http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/162903-should-marrone-have-challenged-the-spot-on-the-interception/ It was the right call by the refs. As soon as Williams possessed the ball the direction of "forward progress" changes. His forward progress was to the yard line that the ball was placed on because Hartline smartly pushed him forward. Just like if he intercepted it at the 10 and Hartline pulled him forward to the 12.
  5. You're not wrong. Marrone could've reviewed the spot of the ball. The only thing automatically reviewed is everything leading up to and including the turnover. So the spot of the ball wouldn't have been reviewed. It's irrelevant, though, because the review would've been overturned. The spot was 100% correct.
  6. Meanwhile, Paul Hamilton just pumped out a really stupid article about Mario.
  7. But unfortunately the Bills can never have enough. Still no answer for the QB position on the roster.
  8. Yea, because franchises never experience tough years. It's called a rebuild. It what smart team do. Strip it down and build it back up with ELITE draft picks.
  9. I was at the game on that side of the endzone, and I'm pretty sure that the guy standing right there is the one that called it a touchback. He hesitated, but he called it a touchback.
  10. If you turn on NBC and expect to see somebody parading guns and being extremely conservative... you're gonna have a bad time.
  11. Well except for the part where Kaleta is a legitimately dirty player.
  12. We've thought it would've been broken for years now. Last year Aldon Smith was on pace to SHATTER the record and didn't record a sack for the last three games.
  13. Wait, so Thad Lewis is a threat to EJ's job now? Oh my.
  14. By placing him on the IR without him having a real season-ending injury, the Bills are taking away an opportunity for him to showcase his abilities that he would've likely had a chance to do if he weren't on the IR. There have been cases like that before. The only reason I think they might not file a grievance is because Hopkins might not want to get into a legal fight as a rookie. Might just ride out the season quietly and get back at it this offseason.
  15. Because the IR takes an opportunity away from Hopkins.
  16. Doug Marrone just announced that kicker Dustin Hopkins has been placed on the IR. I'll be surprised if there isn't a grievance filed by the PA.
  17. Said this elsewhere and I'll say it here: THE BILLS CAN'T IR HOPKINS. IF THEY IR A PLAYER WHO DOESN'T HAVE A LEGITIMATE SEASON-ENDING INJURY THEN THEY WILL GET SUED BY THE NFLPA AND LOSE. THE END.
  18. This is completely made up, for the record. Teams will be able to franchise Byrd after this season, though. And I think there's an understanding in some cities that he'd be willing to sign on to play for a winning team. So if we trade him to a contender, they'd most likely be pretty confident about keeping him long-term. I'd take a 3rd for Byrd and be done with it.
  19. I prefer a Lindell-type on kickoffs with the way the coverage has been playing. Also: FOR THE LAST TIME: THEY CAN'T PUT HOPKINS ON THE IR! HE DOESN'T HAVE A SEASON-ENDING INJURY. IF THEY IR'D HOPKINS, THE NFLPA WOULD SUE THE BILLS AND THE BILLS WOULD LOSE.
  20. Yeeaaaaaaaapppppp. I'm glad somebody has half a brain to figure that out on here. Bills would get sued and lose instantly.
  21. Jeff Tuel. The end.
  22. Do you see what our current group of crappy safeties are doing in this defense? No reason to spend a shitload of money when you can get similar success out of a cheaper player. I'm not saying we have anything remotely close to Byrd talentwise, but the money is the important factor. And the attitude. We can't just let players walk all over us constantly. I would take a QB if we were just taking a team's backup to make the money work. Otherwise I don't want anything but picks. Unless a team is dumb enough to offer up young roster players.
  23. Not really. Carrington would be lucky if Buffalo wants him back. He just had a season-ending injury and was a rotational player at best. Not looking at anything more than a one-year deal.
  24. They're not going to trade him for a quarterback. They're going to deal him for picks... Seriously, just think. A QB would make zero sense.
