I think Jim needs to just work on trying to get better. Unless he has massive investors with 1.5 billion or so to contribute and allow him to be majority owner (not sure how with a net wealth of just 19 mill) I just can't see how he can be serious about buying.

 

He can't be the majority owner unless it's a gift. He doesn't have the money to own 30%.

I have to laugh at all the responses over in the closed Jimbo thread.

"Money might not be all that matters." So what does he have that'll make the difference between the $19 million he has and the $1.5 billion it'll likely take?

"He can make $50 million on an autobiography and movie rights." What movie is there to be made? Is he going to write a book in a day and sell it tomorrow?

 

He'd be a face and nothing more. He likely wouldn't give anymore than a few million, because he'll need money to live on.

For the record, JK will have no actual buying power in pursuit of the Bills. He doesn't have enough money to own 1%. However, he'd be a great karma face for a guy like Donald Trump who will need some.

While I agree that he needs to be kept around I wouldn't be mad if they have questions about him now that they're back in the 4-3. He wasn't anything special until last season. Good in the pass game and a question in the run game. We'll see.

Barr is a one year wonder. Maybin was a......... Barr is best as a rush 3-4 OLB. We don't play that.

 

I agree with the last part but the first is wrong. Barr had two straight 10 sack years to finish his career at UCLA. Wasn't as good this year, but he still was very good.

This is laughable. He was 3-4 in last year's class. This year's class is MUCH better.

I disagree completely. I think the team should be focused on getting Austin Seferian-Jenkins in the second. He's a better value. Reminds me of Tony Gonzalez.

when there's 5-7 tackles and 20-25 wr's which way would you go in round 1 ???

 

I don't understand? There are only 5-7 very good wide receivers and 5-7 very good tackles...

 

The drop off on tackles is bigger after that, but there aren't 15-18 wide receivers that are better talents than the eighth tackle.

Don't assume that the LG position is better. Chris Williams is one of the worst starters at any position in the NFL.

Matthews/Robinson in 1st and Crichton in 2nd would be a solid draft. If a dude can dream I'd take Clowney and Kouindjio in the first 2 rounds if it cost me Spiller and next years 2nd rounder. Pass rusher and OT are Bills biggest needs given Marrone's style. Another workhorse back probably right behind.

 

Crichton's stock is all over. Might be able to get him in the third.

I'd much rather have ASF than Niklas. As far as complimenting Chandler, I'm not interested. Chandler shouldn't be a part of the long-term plans so you don't draft with him in mind.
