  1. I believe Shep will be at an advantage within this defense because there will be less of a demand for coverage on his part. I hope the Bills will be able to get the guys (or utilize current ones) who can penetrate the LOS and keep Guards off of Shep. In free range, I think he can turn into the likes of Brandon Spikes. Similar body type and speed. The instinctive ability is there but I don't believe he has had the system/coaching to get him to the level he needs to be.
  2. Heard through the grape vine that Budweiser Black Crown (equivialant to the Bud Platinum) will be debuted through the Superbowl commercials. Saw it in stores... just saying.
  3. Wow. Interesting. Never would have thought anything like this would be an issue. Maybe they should explore more into the visual training exercises. Is there a coverage/system that would better suit him knowing he has this issue?
  4. I love that Eric Berry is in the bottom ten on this list and made the pro bowl over Byrd.
  5. Kelce seems to be extremely underrated to me. I think he may fall in the draft and could be a steal.
  6. I'd give him 20 mil a year...Giving these 3 qualifications: 1) little money guaranteed 2) a performance related opt out clause 3) he does the entire teams laundry
  7. I believe trading back is our best bet. Frankly, I don't see anyone willing to trade up. Gathering more picks to fill more holes will benefit this team more than moving up and losing picks.
  8. Agreed. much rather take one of these cats then Te'o. I've heard it on here before and agree with it still. His combine numbers will disappoint.
  9. As ridiculous as it was, you cannot help but wonder how many of us Bills fans would have been doing the same, had the Bills made it the the AFC Championship game.
  10. -On point about Clay Matthews, He looked noticibly smaller to me this season. -With Pettine running the show on D, his scheme will allow for A.Williams to play safety if needed, so I'm with you on five. Good post.
  11. With Marrone clearly heading the Offense and Hackett as his right-hand-man, the receiving core of the Bills will be a critical position for the overall success of the unit. Right now I think we have decent talent, but it is imperative we improve through the draft/free agency. I think having 3 good receivers is necessary in this offense: (1) Stevie J (2) ? (3) D.Nelson/ D.Jones (4) TJ Graham How does this sort itself out come camp and who do we get to fill these roles? IMO, Justin Hunter, WR, Tennessee will fit nicely at the 2. We could move back in the draft and get this guy and possibly take a QB in the 2nd and go defensive heavy the rest. Any ideas?
  12. If we trade back, which I think we should (which we wont): Justin Hunter, WR, Tennessee
  13. I just cannot comprehend how the NFL can preach player safety and enforce all these protective penalties but for some reason they don't enforce proper helmet use and a mandatory mouth guard rule. What's up with that?
  14. Today, I commented on a buddy of mine's comment about making the NFL safer. He stated that if the truly wanted to make more of a realistic precaution, they would require tighter helmets and mandatory mouth guard use. I commented, saying this is a great idea. I also stated that I believe it's these new rules that over protect players that are causing the game to change for the worse. Though these penalties are necessary, I believe they are being overused. This is an a$$holes response to what I said: "In a post saying football needs to be safer and reduce head injuries, Zachary says they need to get back to "head banging football." Real Rhodes scholar you are. Then refers to the league as "powder puff." You are exactly what is wrong with football fans. No need for people like you supporting the nfl." My reply: "I agreed with the original post. "Head Bangers" is merely a term used in the 80's referring to the tough nose football those guys used to play. In modern football, these rules are over-protecting players and causing unreasonable calls "defenseless receivers, roughing the QB, etc." Though necessary, they've taken these penalties to the extreme. I think Joe (OP) was on point, they're taking the wrong steps in making football safer and these rules are changing the game for the worse. No need for hostility there, buddy." Do you agree? Is it unfair to call the league "powder puff"? Is it time to change these rules to be more reasonable? Man, I miss the head bangers of the 80's.
  15. I'm unfamiliar with his philosophy. Anyone care to share?
  16. Seriously, where are all the Te'o supporters that were calling me ignorant and stupid a few weeks ago?
  17. sheppard would make at least one play.
  18. How does Manti "miss 2 tackles all season" and magically miss 3 tonight in the first half? Riddle me this...
  19. Where are those Manti Te'o lovers now?
  20. There will never be another Ray Lewis.
