  1. Lots of great items. Thinking about diving into the rookie collection!
  2. Awesome. Update when possible Buftex!
  3. If it's not too outrageous to think EJ sits starting the season, is it too farfetched to think that he starts? I understand that he has a lot to work on, but with a solid camp and the NFL moving towards starting rookies immediately, how likely is this?
  4. Just curious, is this prediction based on previous NFL QB competitions, Marrone/Hackett's history with QB's, etc. Seems that the new trend is to start these rookie QB's (Wilson, RG3, Luck, Newton, etc.) given that they show some sort of readiness and potential. p,s. not comparing EJ and these QB's, just noting the recent trend
  5. They note EJ as having less reps that TJ and Kolb...an early sign or merely a product of him rotating in last? I don't think it's a big deal at all, however, something to keep an eye on as we approach mandatory mini camp.
  6. Dont' Rick the boat, Rodger Alonz-o Ahoy! Powell Steering Sear-sea Sick
  7. I was unaware of this. Top priority would be Byrd imo. Use that money and hike his signing bonus to try and lure him.
  8. I never thought of selling, just merely was curious. I appreciate the blunt honesty. The best value they will receive is to me and my own memories. Might have to look into that. Are they still mass producing trading cards? Maybe I should pick up a mint condition Rookie E.J. Manuel card...
  9. Ahh man I was really hoping for something a little more pessimistic!
  10. Hey Guys, I was going through my old things and found a collection of late 80's and early 90's Buffalo trading cards. Kent Hull, Jim Kelly, Bruce Smith, Pete Metzelaars and some other Buffalo greats. I was wondering if anyone knows of a good place to have these valued online. I'm aware each card is different based on make, year, condition, etc. Anyone heard of, or have used, any online service to have these checked out? P.s my favorite is the 1994 Pinnacle Bruce Smith card. What a mean looking S.O.B... Thanks!
  11. I've always liked Warren but these comments are unwarranted with no substance. If he were to give reasons, or at least one, then maybe he could try and argue this. Other than that, this video seems to be a washed up, broke man's rant simply because Byrd plays for the Bills.
  12. "Why would you do that!" Yup...that about sums it up.
  13. Any chance that EJ sits the entire season, Kolb absolutely does tremendous and finds his way into the starting role? Just playing a little devils advocate here...
  14. Cant stand the rave of ESPN 'experts'. I thank them for their dedication to breaking down the film but they speak as if they can read the future.
  15. Look for Da'Rick Rodgers to break the roster. The guy is undoubtedly 2nd-3rd round talent. Given he keeps his off-field instances to zero, he could be a real player. I'd take him over Goodwin as far as WR. Given that they want Stevie in the slot, a big, tall receiver to complement woods at the other outside spot would be nice. 1a: Stevie 1b: Woods 3: Rodgers 4a:TJ 4b: Goodwin Easley is out. TJ and Goodwin may be inter-changeable. I see Woods and Stevie complementing each other nicely.
  16. Glad that we hve the players we need for this phase. However, scheme could be crippling to us.
  17. Undoubtedly one of the most overlooked aspects in football is the 3rd phase of the game. By many coaches in all levels, special teams has utmost importance with game changing potential. In the midst of a new staff and morphed roster, I find one of the most interesting aspects to be special teams. Any predictions in this phase? Personally, I love that we added a kicker to compete and possibly replace Lindel. I believe we have great speed and depth for special teams. With the right scheme, I think we can make some noise here. DO NOT OVERLOOK THIS ASPECT OF THE GAME. Blocked punts, missed field goals, returned kicks, etc. are moments which can define our season. Thoughts?
  18. I believe Patterson is a high risk, high reward player. His explosiveness is clear in his play. He is the physical specimen that Bills fans have raged about having for years now. His size and speed alone are elite and put him in a class similar to the major receivers in the NFL. I would love the Bills to go after him. The way I look at it, he will be able to come in and play immediately have an impact. Definitely can use some help in route running. If either of the big two tackles fall to 8, you take them. If not, I think you look to Patterson to be the guy. Note: I am in no way suggesting Patterson is as good, or will be as good as Johnson, Johnson, Marshall. Bryant, etc. He merely mirrors their athletic skill set and size.
  19. More overpaid than movie popcorn
  20. I believe Shep will be at an advantage within this defense because there will be less of a demand for coverage on his part. I hope the Bills will be able to get the guys (or utilize current ones) who can penetrate the LOS and keep Guards off of Shep. In free range, I think he can turn into the likes of Brandon Spikes. Similar body type and speed. The instinctive ability is there but I don't believe he has had the system/coaching to get him to the level he needs to be.
