  1. Great read, thanks for posting. The author does a great job of highlighting how his intelligence is the initial kick start to his success. This "west coast" attack includes many presnap reads but also has many mid play, just second decisions. I'd love to see those packaged plays make way towards BFLO. Cut out the zone read and implement these zone/slant concepts.
  2. Leave no stone unturned, see your options and get a foot in the door with up and coming talent. Couldn't agree more here.
  3. Going specifically off the rough breakup in Washington, I'd say no. Given the choice between the two, I'd rather RGIII. Despite his recent struggles, he is still a young, up and coming athlete where as Shanahan is an aging retread.
  4. Ha! Nice. Now if we can squeeze Maroone to the Jets, were sitting pretty. There is only three teams in the AFC East anyways, right?
  5. I like it as well. They are covering a wide variety of candidates. However, i do hope they jump in whomever they find fit before someone else. If hate to be forced into a hire like they were with Meroone
  6. Bradham was our best cover LB this year. I think he would be a front runner for the gig
  7. No confirmation of an interview yet, am I right? Seems weird, you think an in house guy would be one of the first to be looked at.
  8. "As cool as the other side of the pillow..." "Boo yah!" Childhood favorites from him
  9. He was one of the greats and will be missed.
  10. Bevell has done great things with the Seahawk Offense. I'd be pumped to see his plan for EJ, Sammy, et. al...
  11. I have not, and will never, root for this team to lose. There is way too much time, sweat and tears out into this franchise by the players and staff to purposefully "tank" for a guy you're not even sure is going to be successful. Obviously I'd love a franchise QB, but I'd never root for a ba season to see it happen. Whaley and the front office is supposed to go find what they need, the same way the Seahawks did with Wilson. The last thing I want to see this team do is continue to lose.
  12. He offers an in house replacement, continuity from last years success. With the right guys on Offense, Schwartz could continue to monitor the defensive while Pep or Henderson take the reigns as DC. Schwartz is a guy with head coaching experience and I'd rather roll with him than risk losing another DC for a 4th year in a row
  13. For the right price and for the right system. 3 mill a year? A one year prove it deal is most likely all he'll find elsewhere
  14. anybody except Marrone. maybe i'll submit my resume...
  15. They call it a 'family' and I'm sure for some it is. When it comes down to it, I'd rather have a guy who means it and stick to his guys instead of saving face and quitting
  16. Can Schwartz not be HC and bring in a seasoned OC?
  17. Schwartz>Reich We cannot afford to lose this defense and I'm afraid passing over Schwartz will do just that.
  18. Schwartz is a clear knee jerk pick. I wouldn't mind this move at all.
  19. Is spiller now someone we need to resign? hughes? spikes? I'm praying for this.
  20. I can't help but wonder if Kiko knows what's going on...
  21. whatever it is, I hope it entails drilling another oil well to pay for the top tier coaching staff they're bringing in
  22. An in-house replacement with a killer defensive squad. If you bring the right OC in, you're cooking with gas. His history is a mixed review
